[ti]trade[/ti]it's raining cats and dogs

Well this place was creepy as fuck, wasn't it?

Nero had suggested the circus tent as a convenient meet-up spot without actually approaching it himself to check it out beforehand. He'd seen it in the near distance as he'd been wandering about Briarbane and fired off a ping to it on the messaging system without a second thought. It was only when he'd moved close enough to see the mimes in action that he'd really started to question his choice of meeting spot.

Oh well, hopefully the other player would just think he was badass for braving such a spot.

This 'Wolf' person had seemed pretty cool from what Nero could see of them - a good roster of Pokemon under their belt, a decent chunk of experience too, and a guild member it seemed. Nero hadn't looked into too deeply into guilds, but he knew they required a certain level of understanding of the game at the very least. He needed to make a good impression to this more seasoned player then, so as long as he didn't flinch every time one of the mimes smiled at him, he'd play this off as a show of bravery and not a weird ill-thought out decision.

He hadn't necessarily been looking to shift Growlithe so soon, but when this particular offer had popped up as he'd been scrolling through the active trades, it had seemed too opportune to ignore. Growlithe was a great Pokemon of course, one that Nero did like very much, but he had his Poochyena for his 'classic dog' role (since his Electrike was currently... out of action), and both his Quilava and Numel for fire types. Its niche was filled twice over, so there was little reason to keep it in his party for now. The fact he hadn't even taken it out of his Pokeball yet to see it in the game was evidence enough of that, so why not swap it for something he'd use more often?

And... no, he wasn't preemptively replacing Electrike... well, not in that sense. He couldn't use the electric type in battle though, so it did make sense to get another one on his roster. And damn Luxray was cool okay, it was a hard option to turn down anyway.

He leaned himself back against one of the sturdy tent poles, fishing through various bits of information flashing by on his UI as he waited for his trade partner to arrive. There was that weird DNA again, with another pop-up asking him if he wanted to clone it once more... so he gave that a click as well, before closing down the various windows in a flash as he saw someone approaching.
