OUT OF THE GAME Painfully slow in the uptake, a scatterbrain who could only get through his early days as a student with a lot of help. It could not go on forever though, he would eventually have to move forward by his own once he was ready to do so, but nobody knew just how difficult that was. As many times as he stumbled along the way he too got up, but for every step he gave his pears would be 5 ahead already. Slow, stupidly slow, nobody could bother lending a hand as nobody under heaven had a patience that vast, not even himself. He could not help his brain being wired that way nor his surroundings being as unfriendly as they could be towards his shortcomings. If he, born a failure, could ever trample them, burn them to nothing, he would gladly turn into the flames themselves. Yet, he was sensible enough to know what kind of hell would that bring to his life and the lives of others. Still, the fires raged, needing someone to engulf, and he was the only one he could allow himself to hurt. So they lashed out, he lashed out, while also begging for an end. So after the heat settled and he came to his senses, he dropped high school altogether, giving up on keeping with the expectations and wanting no more than to escape reality, to find much needed peace and solitude, so he took refugee in virtual reality, and for years he would lay there, at the very bottom of its sea. Until, suddenly, the plug was pulled out of his fantasies, and he took on the sights of a kid now aged 18 years old, without anything to his name, nor the care of family and friends, long alienated. He tried to sink back but the sea had run dry, no more could he deny the reality that he had a live outside, that he could be living, but without motivation to ever slightly improve it, no cherished things to put effort for. He only had his humiliating, pitiful appearance to reignite his rage. With newfound motivation he could take another shot at putting his life back on track, he got ideas but being so long in isolation had rusted his social skills to fine dust, giving a step outside his house, or even looking a person in the eyes required a lot of effort in his part, and having to deal with a rising tide of anxiety ready to swept his mind away at any moment. He had to relearn it all back, but real-life as scary as it was now wouldn't do. So when he retreated back at the virtual world, and online saw walkthroughs of the recently launched, UNOVR, he knew what to do. If real-life was too hard for a newbies attempts, he only needed to lower the difficulty down. Such is the world of VR and such is UNOVR amongst them, or so he believes from it's franchise's reputation. He will eventually see, if he has made the good call, if this time his efforts will truly pay off.

INSIDE THE GAME It all loops back into a scatterbrained person, making again the effort to be focused and committed to the task at hand, or at least give off the appearance. It may look as if he contemplates deeply his surroundings or the situation at present, but most often he is sorting out the slippery thoughts in his head, forgetting details given as recent as less than a minute ago. At times, he's to shy to even utter a word and his presence goes unnoticed far too long and often. The so long isolation from contact has rusted to outstanding degrees his ability to communicate and uttering full sentences becomes hard without stutter or forgetting words and grammatical rules, even more so when conversing with other people. Is a different story when it comes to texting as that is the form of communication he's been relying for most of his time in virtual reality, but even then, he's too afraid to let out too much of his thoughts or feelings. Yet, there are situations that may trigger his temper despite how well he does at keeping it down, forsaking all rationale and acting out solely based on his feelings, going straight to get the source of his ire gone, even if harmful to himself or others. Although, it may be a force of motivation to move forward too. All in all, he is truly a mess of nerves.
