There was a lifeguard, a couple of sunbathers, maybe even a pokemon. He sipped his green tea and frowned. Still no takers. Could they not read the sign? Grookey checked it again. There it was, in bold black letters against the white background, like some kind of cartoon. THE COASTLINE IS DOOMED CHANGE MY MIND Yep, that was it alright. Clear as day! Well, clearer than today, what with the horrible weather and the rising tide. Grookey wondered if that was related to Kath Ulu's plan to get everyone to head into the Crater and reinforce it against the tempes- y'know, now that he thought about it, yeah. It might be related. "HEY!" He yelled out anyone and everyone running past. "Aren't you going to try to change my mind?"

The coastline isn't bloody doomed! he thought, laying down the weakened swimmer in a bed of palm leaves. He hadn't quite figured out an item duplicating glitch yet like @allota would have, so he'd had to tear them down by hand. "You'll be safer here," he said. On his way back down the beach he finally stopped just past Grookey's stall. "Hey there bud! Can you give me a hand getting all these people up into the tent?" Big Bee's own Grookey, Rian, was perched on his shoulder. She waved her stick at Grookey, then pointed down the beach to where a ship had crashed into the headland, spilling NPCs along the shore. "There's plenty of coastline worth saving, and you can help us!"

"I can destroy your argument with one simple question." He sipped his tea. "Have you ever heard of anyone drowning in the crater?" "In fact," he went on, slowly getting to his feet and stretching his back. "I think the very fact that these people need saving is testament to the fact that they would be safer in the crater. Don't ya think, baby?" Finally, Grookey made his way over to Big Bee and offered his stick to one of the NPCs. He groaned exaggeratedly as he helped one of them up the shore. "Crater's that way, baby," he said, shoving the NPC off in the general direction of the volcano. "Ah. Another life saved."
