A frat party in a VR game, though? That’s like a new level of lame. Leave it to the losers at Round 2 to be the hosts (no offence, Furrlicity Purrfection, Tuesday actually likes you… catperson bond and all, ya know?). Can people even get drunk in VR? Probably, since it's deep dive and all.

As per usual, curiosity over the intricacies of the game that may or may not be a possible investment is part of what drives Tuesday to agree. The other part, though? That’s just Tuesday wanting to have fun doing something stupid with some online friends.

Orion would stare at the flyer for a moment, half drank coffee in one hand and his bag half slung over his shoulders.  The last few days had been quite...well, something that was for sure.  He was still waiting on his results for the extra credit exams, but otherwise he'd managed to get out of there with straight S's, something he'd never managed to do back in the real world.  He'd never been to a rage run by college dudes, sure he'd raged, but those were Cayge Ragers and partying with family was a lot different than partying with strangers whom the only bond you shared was the fact that you both went to the same school and they had booze.  

Speaking of, how the fuck did Nintendo let them have booze?

Something was off, and Orion Cayge the Ace detective was going to investigate.  You know, for...science.  If any hot cooeds also wanted to cop a feel of his biceps or talk dirty to him about pokemon typing that was just icing on the cake.  Pausing, he would open his UI and shoot Lucky Guy a quick message.

"Ayo, the Round 2 Guild is apparently throwing a rager and I'm curious to see if Nintendo allowed Hydance to code in actual booze.  You wanna check this shit out with me?"

Ruby did not want to go to this party. She never had been a party girl in school, but it seemed that didn't stop her from being convinced to go anyways. A simple flier had made its way towards Mom's hands, and the wonderful woman that she was only encouraged her to go. It was strange, considering she took the form of a teen in this world, and there was absolutely going to be alcohol here.

Virtual alcohol? Would that do anything? Imagine, tricking the brain to believe it was intoxicated? Was it any different than the realistic pain one felt?

Perhaps she was thinking too much on the subject.

In the end, the young woman acquiesced to Mother's demands to socialize with her fellow siblings. After all, what could go wrong?

Laguna took one look at the flier that had fallen from its post in the middle of town, and immediately canceled all of her plans.

"I was going to go grocery shopping this evening. But this sounds so much more fun!" She laughed, grinning widely down at her Bergmite. The loyal iceberg had been sliding across the ground beside her, but now it was tilting its entire body in confusion as it attempted to look up at her trainer.

"It's a party, Glacia!" She quickly grabbed the flier off the ground, almost spinning in place as she read it in depth. "A party in a haunted house, specifically! It'll be fun! Besides, I've been to the afterlife twice already! What could actually scare us, huh?"

The Bergmite was confused even more so. She didn't really know what was so exciting, but she was happy her trainer was happy! The two of them ran off through town, trying to get any last-minute preparations done before the big event.

Big Bee had heard the whispers. He'd read the flyers. Hell, he'd even seen the billboard that Round 2 had put up at the outskirts of town.

"The marketing guys did a great job with this," he said, nodding in appreciation. "You really get the sense it was made by drunk frat-bros."

It was important that Big Bee attend all of the major events on site. Hydance needed to see what went on inside their game. How players actually played the game. And the best way to do that was by being a part of their own creation. He'd stick to the background, of course, but there was always fun to be had. Besides, apparently orioncayge was going, and he couldn't let his Bandana Bro down!
