During his brutal battle with his rival ARAVAN ESCHER, Josh had received a notification that the Park of Dogs was about to reach its apex floor. "Oh, yikes! I need to hurry up and get back there! Luna, let's go! On the double!" The blonde child clicked open the Liepard's Poké Ball and scrambled onto her saddle. With a swift jab to her sides, the dark-type was off,
Information> Park of Dogs 96F
Alkaid , Kyukon , and anyone else still present would see a Liepard barrelling into the moonlit park with great speed, Josh lurching forward when his mount extended her claws to slam on the brakes. They might be able to see his skin puckered from head to toe, as though he had been in a swimming pool for hours. Anyone familiar with his rival would be able to surmise exactly what had happened.
The park was full of Minior now; he had see it all. Was Zamazenta really capable of saying only one word? Was Zacian really the smart one of the two? The only way to find out was to do as he asked, a UI notice prompting the scout for a status move. With his only Pokémon capable of inflicting those being Electric-type, using one while he was still wet was asking for friendly fire. Thinking ahead, he bounced and rolled Raiden's Poké Ball into the near corner, the equine rearing sharply and making a clamor.
"Raiden, THUNDER WAVE!"
The horse's white stripes glowed yellow as he fired a thin current toward one of the Minior, causing it to fall to the ground and splash around any snow that was still on the ground. The feline's rider reined his mount toward the Galarian Heroes, the dark-type picking up the stunned Pokémon on the way and setting it down in front of the steel-type dog over twice their size.

Night may have fallen upon the park, but she wasn’t too bothered by the lack of light. She’d dealt with worst on one of her fortunately rare moments of pulling an all-nighter for one reason or another. The moon was something of an old friend, really.
”Tikani?” Alicia asked, bringing her starter out to satisfy the prompt.
The Bayleef just smiled, flicking her head leaf to release a flurry of rainbow colored leaves towards one of the few remaining Minior fluttering in the sky. Guided by her will, they struck with perfect accuracy and broke off the rocky outer covering, before scooping the star bit Pokemon up and sending it spiraling towards the waiting Zamazenta.

"To what constitutes, a ball?" Celeste pondered, gazing upon the floating star Pokémon as they floated around the park. Seemingly being chased by a good number of other Trainers and their own Pokémon, all fetching to try and grab the best toy for the Weapon Dogs of Legend. How curious that they would request such living beings for their own entertainment. Although, she supposed that is no different than what real animals did.
Dogs and Cats both played with other animals, often with each other. Why suddenly because she could understand them, they had further intelligence, did that mean that they should stop acting as animals?
Much to think upon.
"U-ummm," mumbled the Sobble on her shoulder. "A ball... is round?"
"An astute observation my dearest friend." She'd smile, reaching up to gently pat the arm of the Sobble. "Things are as they are. Looking out into it the universe at night, we make no comparisons between right and wrong stars, nor between well and badly arranged constellations. Thus, we must presume there is no such thing as right and wrong balls. For all can be a ball, should one perceive it as such as their truth."
"... We should, umm, bring them a ball?"
"We should. if you should please?"
The Sobble climbed down off her shoulder, only to suddenly pounce forwards with a Pound, moving to roll the Minior away. Prompt #99: [Tower]T7EtdQf81-50 1-50

The sky was growing dark, and the stars in it were bright and beautiful. Respiro tilted his beaky head up to watch them, feeling a sense of calm descend along with the dusk. A park at night. Nostalgic. Familiar.
Then, brightness!!
Balls of fire rained down from the sky, becoming floating Pokémon that glowed with different colors as they floated around the dog park. Respiro needed no instruction: he vaulted the fence, landing on the grass in the other side with his eyes filled with lights. Minior! How colorful, like Christmas lights!
They floated around aimlessly. Were they looking for something? Or someone?
Respiro released his Ferroseed, and held it up like a metalloid egg. Rainbows reflected in the steel, and transfixed Minior floated closer. Responding to their proximity, the barbs on the Pokémon's body grew hard and cold, preparing to attack (metal claw).
But it was not necessary!
Not for such a small and starlike Pokémon.
Respiro grabbed the Minior, holding onto it tight so it couldn't float away. He wondered for a rebellious moment if he should even give it to the wolves at the gate. Maybe he should keep it for himself!
But the sad baying outside made its way through to his selfish heart, and the little fighter trotted back with his prize, pleased after all to present it to the canine guards.

Tabula, after a brief moment of watching the Core Pokemon float about, sending out the Fuecoco once more. With a stretch and a curious look, the achromatic person would glance at the prompt.
Use a Sound-Based move (0/1). Sound based? What...counted as sound based?
"Hey...Numa?" "What's up?" "Looks like we have to...use a Sound-based move. Do you know what that's about?" "Oh, sound based moves? Those are moves relating to singing, or makin' a lotta noise at once. Like this!"
With that, the Fuecoco would approach one of the many coloured meteorites, and begin singing, red and orange notes hitting the meteor and pulling it along. The song was...surprisingly catchy, and soon Tabula found themselves humming along softly, following the Fire Croc as the Minior was led towards the red and dark-blue coloured wolf.
Fuecoco used Round!
As they follow, a quick glance to the UI found it marked off.
Use a Sound-Based move (1/1). Prompt Completed!

PARK OF DOGS: FINAL FLOOR!ALIEN DARKNESS FALLS ON THE PARK OF DOGS The darkest part of night is spoiled by a great, red rip in the sky.
Horrid crimson and bruise-purple light illuminates the park as a huge, otherworldly hand twists free from the darkness and descends on the park like a sentient claw machine. Jagged black knuckles armor alien flesh made of pure magenta-bright energy. It is evil. It is immense.
More importantly, clutched in the claw is a single, giant tennis ball.
"Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall!" howls Zamazenta, filling the park with a joyous howl that can only be described as love at first sight. He drops the Minior he had been happily chewing on and runs to jump and claw up against the park fence, whining and leaping like a dog barking at an airplane. The NO DOGS ALLOWED sign holds fast.
"We must have that ball!" barks Zacian, ears pricked. The giant hand in the sky shakes it enticingly. Even the normally self-collected wolf is drooling. "Humans, once more! Your help is required: this is the last boon we will ask from you! Aid us now, and even the kin of our kin will sing your praises!"

It had been a while since Joy had last played and done anything else but noodle on her guitar somewhere in Briarbane, but this seemed a little bit high concept for a dog park quest. The sky was literally ripped apart, for a hand to be reaching down from the heavens with a massive tennis ball? What the actual hell? This was a little bit much for her. Was this what the kids these days viewed as fantastic storytelling? Finding the perfect quest for the ball? She was tempted to just straight up walk away, laughing. That is, until-
"Boss!" Minion the Fuecoco shouted, glaring up at the massive Tennis Ball and the beast that was holding it in the heavens. "We gotta get that ball! Just think about all the praises they'll sing about us when we get them giant puppies what they want!"
"I- Hmm," Nurse Joy paused, glancing at the two legendary dogs, then back at her little crocodile pepper. "Fine. I suppose we can engage."
"Yes ma'am!" Minion swiftly waddled into the park proper, charging forwards.
"Man, why the hell does he have to be so stupidly adorable?" She chuckled quietly, pacing into the park as she walked casually behind it. "Use Ember, Minion. Burn them out of the sky."
"Avoid burning the ball, right?" Asked Minion, tilting their head back at their trainer.
"Yes, of course. Don't burn the ball. Although, a few scorch marks won't really hurt nothing."
"Hmm, then maybe, we should something else! I shall bring him down, with- uh, with song!" He shouted out excitedly, rearing his arms as he stomped the ground to a rhythm, starting a Round! It was directly disobeying an order of hers, but Joy couldn't deny she found the idea far to novel to complain about.
"♪ Ball, ball, ball! Give us the ball! ♪" The song echoed into the heavens, damaging the beast, if it even had ears to hear it. "♪ Come down from the sky, you suuuuuck at teniiiiis, and you can't play worth craaaap. Ball, ball, ball! Give us the ball! ♪" Prompt 102: [dogprompt]OId3Vjgt1d1001d100

...hm, well, that happened.
Master Hand the Pokemon (wait was that even a Pokemon? The UI helpfully supplied that yes, it is! It's a legendary with a legendary ball!) lowered itself barely above the sky line, right where it ripped it in half. Kind of like another Ultra Beast situation, he supposed? How did this even work? But anyway, it was thankfully confined to the scenario of the final tower floor, so it shouldn't cause much trouble, Arthur felt. He sure damn hoped not.
He hadn't touched a tower since the harrowing race he did, so seeing the familiar prompt window pop up felt like something pierced through his hibernal heart (part familiar, part oh god no please) - use a Pokemon with Z in its name? Well, as it turned out, the Pokemon he had just recently traded all of his tower awards to fit the bill!
❝Zoro!❞ (he had limited name choices with his theming).
A tiny black fox would pop out, land on the grass, look up, and then turned back to his trainer. <What the (bleep) is that?>
❝Uh. It's a Pokemon?❞
<It's (bleeping) huge!>
The Zorua had a point. Was he just going to chuck the little fox up in the sky and hope for the best? And what about the ball? He noted that there was a tiny little red crocodile singing something, like, kind of insulting Master Hand. Did that count? Could they just do the same thing?
❝Zoro, can you sing?❞
<Not in your wildest dreams.>
Arthur scrolled through his moveset. ❝Can you use Torment?❞
The Zorua made a face, like an "are you serious" kind of expression, but he did catch on a bit with the loud singing of the other Pokemon, and was like, okay! Whatever, if singing could work, then surely insulting it could do something! So he snarled and stomped his tiny paws, throwing as best of a tantrum as he could. <HEY, YOU! I HEAR YOU SCRATCH YOUR ASS WITH THAT HAND. IT SMELLS REAL BAD. YEAH!> Prompt #103: [dogprompt]Hf2XR5lm1d100 1d100

This... was not how Nero had expected this fun little ball-collecting minigame to end, but then when had UNOVR ever done the expected before? Realistically, collecting gifts for a pair of legendary Pokemon would have had to have ended in something dramatic, wouldn't it? It was just the fun, friendly, everyday atmosphere of a dog park that had lulled Nero into a false sense of security - and perhaps the fact that they'd just finished a huge World Event and so he was subconsciously hoping for something quiet and simple to spend his time on for a while, to recover from the excitement of all that.
Oh well, he could go for a stroll along the beaches of Beta Island later for that - for now, they had a ball to get.
The giant floating hand was something Nero only vaguely recognised, but he was pretty sure it was a Pokemon - or an odd form of a Pokemon at least. In which case, they could treat it like any of the other Pokemon in this park that they'd collected for the dogs already. A few attacks aimed up at the monstrosity with a bit of tactical planning, and then maybe the pair of blue canines would be happy at last.
The trio that Nero had taken into the dungeon recently were all having a well earned rest, so it was Aerodactyl that was called out of its 'ball for this task. For a while, this Pokemon had been Nero's most prized possession, a rare and valuable creature sought after by many but awarded to only few thanks to some excellent luck in the Silent Night event. That wouldn't be the case for much longer though, with the precious fossil showing up on the loot list for the World Event recently, but perhaps he had one last opportunity to show it off before the game became flooded with them.
"Can you reach it with an Iron Head?" Nero asked the dinosaur by his side, earning a screech of confirmation before a pair of wings beat aggressively to lift the Aerodactly into the air. A swift flier, he reached the strange hand in no time at all, and a flash of silver coating his thick forehead allowed the trainer on the ground to see the Iron Head collide with its target.
The fossil Pokemon returned back to Nero's side and earned a pat for his hard efforts. "Good job. That ought to loosen its grip a little."

When Morpheus came back to the tower, he was expecting it was another ball-collecting mini-quest since the last time he was here or missing out since the players reached Floor 100. But that was months ago and it only took seeing a large purple and red skeleton-like hand reaching out from the dark clouds to make him realize how much he missed out on all of the craziness while he was offline. It was even worse when he didn't spend too much time on Pokemon Sword to know this monstrosity. Not even his Orthworm retained his smile enough to see the horrifying Legendary Pokemon above them.
"Crud... This is what I get for focusing too much on Bravery and ClanWar..." Morpheus scanned around the area to see other players throwing their attacks at the Eternamax Eternatus to force it to let go of the final ball. "Borou, think you can hit that guy with your Iron Tail?"
<<I'll try... I never jumped at that height before...>>
Despite his Orthworm's concern, he quickly dove into the earth while his trainer backed away. After a while, Borou emerged from the ground before he jumped and swung his metal-enveloped tail at the hand-shaped Pokemon. Prompt 105: [dogprompt]Yev1dwP_1d100 1d100

There was something comforting about coming back to UNOVR this time around. Work and overtime may be expected of her, but at least there was...well, Pokemon. What wasn't comforting was the weird hand-thing that split the night in red and purple hues - holding a tennis ball, seemingly enticing the dogs with no core reason.
But it was too late - a random Pokeball was thrown, and from a flash of light, appeared...a beaver with...muscles? And a log? The beaver would glance around - once, twice, blink a few times, before turning to Tabula, with a raised eyebrow - a question in a look. What's going on? Who are you-? With a small motion to the alien hand from the glass-haired person, the beaver would glance up at the strange...thing - reeling back in surprise, before letting out a soft hum. After a moment of pondering, his log would glow a soft mahogany, before he glanced over to Tabula with a toothy grin. "We'll...do introductions 'nother time, 'ey?"
With a nod from Tabula, the beaver would nod back, before jumping up to attempt to strike the hand with the log, a fighting type strike.

Information> Park of Dogs - TURRET
The blue and black sky erupted into purple-red, an alien hand with dragon heads for fingers descending upon the park. Primal fear shivered up the child's spine as he heard Zamazenta's howl. He expected that the two Galarian heroes seeing their mortal enemy would stoke their anger, leading them to battle the beyond-titanic Eternatus whose frame had to be larger than the park itself. Blotting out the entire moon, the only light that reached the park was a mix of red and purple, as though the air itself was bleeding from the evil dragon's very presence.
And all Zamazenta could point out was the presence of a tennis ball lodged in the Eternatus' building-sized claws, held back by the NO DOGS ALLOWED sign. "Useless," Josh mumbled. "Utterly useless. And they're supposed to be legendary Pokémon, the focus of the story and the most powerful creatures in the--"
Before he could respond to the prompt to attack with a red Pokémon, their massive foe's dragon-head fingers converged their sight upon Josh, their breath weapons converging into a DYNAMAX CANNON that seared the Player and his Pokémon with pure DYNERGY. His entire field of vision turned a purple-white, the rider wailing in agony as the mighty attack left him in as much pain as his settings allowed. While he didn't feel like he was going to die, it felt like every square inch of his skin had been covered in first-degree burns. It was but a singular UI message that made Josh aware he was still alive:
Combat Log> Close Call! Josh survived the attack!
All he could see was a large, red 499 bouncing in front of his model, with even larger ones in front of the rest of his team. Enough to leave the rest of them fainted in an instant.
Shaking as he accessed a Pokémon to replace his fallen team and attack that dragon back while it recovered from the exertion. "Ixion!" he shouted in desperation, barely able to control his arm as he hurled the Poké Ball toward the center of the park. "AGILITY!" With a loud neigh, the biazing red horse galloped around the grounds, building up speed before leaping toward the tennis ball stuck in the poison-type's grasp.

Pale golden orbs lifted to the red rip that suddenly appeared in sharp contrast to the normal inky night sky. The atmosphere shifted in the park to follow, deep crimsons and royal toxic purple lights took over the once soft feel. A sense of a dark ominous foreign entity emerging from the unknown washed over the player, all nerve endings on high alert. A frown formed along her lips.
A black claw like hand reached out from the rip, its long fingerlike appendages flexed as it held a sizable bright green tennis ball in its grip. And it was at this moment, Wolf realized she wasn’t about to die. At least, not die from being attacked. Maybe die of laugher though. Who knows. She did crack a smile.
This time, both dogs wanted the extra large ball. Both equally excited, though still Zacian tried to control itself. Zamazenta on the other hand. Well, it was zamazenta. There was no other words than that. Of course, they pleaded for their help and Wolf wasn’t about to back down now. She has done this whole tower, this last round shouldn’t be too hard.
“Psykos,” the hybrid mumbled, summoning her espeon and watching her materialized before her, “See if you can CHARM that thing into giving us the ball.” The soft pink feline casted Wolf a look, long split tip tail twitched annoyed before strolling casually towards the thing. He tried to look cute, even letting out small meows and purring like an actually cat. Wasn’t Wolf’s cup a tea, but maybe it liked it? Prompt #108: [dogprompt]fJRVD1NW1d1001d100

In hindsight, she should’ve seen an emergence of Eternatus coming from what she’d read up about the generation. The hero dogs were here, so of course their sworn nemesis would put in an appearance at this juncture. But she certainly wasn’t expecting this!
”Okami-style knock off!” she screamed at the gargantuan hand dragon. Shaking her head, she tossed a Pokeball out. [tangent=“Gurulu! You’re on, find a hunk of rock and Dragon Tail it at that beast! Her Guzzlord appeared in a flash and bellowed his roar, before stomping towards the largest hunk of rock he could find. Pivoting on one foot, he slammed his tail into the piece of rock and sent it flying. The inciter of the Darkest Day flinched a bit, the digit that was hammered by Gurulu’s impromptu projectile flinching back.

What a strange little tower to find herself in. Morgan had decided to exit her little stomping grounds as of late and found herself and her Fennekin inside of what appeared to be an ancient looking arena of sorts. Two large ass dogs would stand before a...large red, sickly looking hand coming out of the sky? "The hell's even going on in here?" The goth crinkled her nose at the sight in front of her but rolled her eyes. Not like anything else in this game made as much sense in context. Not wanting to be left out of the fun, Morgan threw her lone Pokemon out and onto the field. From the capsule thrown, out came a newly minted Fennekin, the vulpine Pokemon letting out a cheery cry at being called out.
For somebody facing such a world ending thread, they looked to be incredibly spirited. "Alright, boy, let's see what you can do." A battle menu came up in front of Morgan, showing off her Pokemon's battle data and available moveset. Not a whole lot they could actually do here realistically. Growling and slamming head first into a cloud with an arm in it likely wasn't going to help "Ember that hand!" The Fennekin spat out several jagged spikes of crystallized fire, sailing towards the hand. Probably not doing any of the lifting, but every little thing counted. Nobody could complain she didn't do anything. Prompt 110: [dogprompt]AYkTwuaT1d1001d100
