Hyper Beam hit like a, well, like an undiluted beam attack from a furious oceanic monster.
Taka and TKO hit the deck with a slam and wet crunch
Big Bee rushed over, one hand on each, feeling for a pulse. TAKA was completely knocked out, his voice silenced. The constant sound of "hun-gry...hun-gry...hung-gry" had been silenced. Now there was just the weak pulse of the unconscious turtle. Big Bee withdrew him, cradling the ball filled with his unconscious friend.
He checked on TKO, laying a hand on the wet blob. "...Unexpected..." said a tiny voice.
"You're okay!" Big Bee shouted, voice tight. He pulled up TKO and there was a terrible cracking noise. "Ah! Was that you?!"
TKO held up the remains of the Bone of Breaking, which had shattered as he hit the deck. "The bone from the temple!" It must have been equipped to him still from the dungeon and activated when he took damage!
TKO's red HP bar blinked ominously. 6/250HP
"We've gotta get you healed up mate. You're not a ton of use like this," he said, cradling the squishy survivor. A gust of pink wind from manish zipped across the waters and into TKO.
His bar rose to 21 HP.
Allotta landed on the deck next to him, her imposing silhouette backed by the urgent storm. "I'm here to help, dude!" Her Pokemon sprayed TKO with silly string and healing sparks, and his HP rose again. 65 HP
Big Bee could have cried. People were coming together to help each other. To help him. To fight off this massive, insurmountable enemy.
Rain falls, sparkling like tears from the heavens, as Finnegan Fjord 's Piplup heals TKO more and more! 110HP "Almost back in the yellow," Big Bee says, as the smile grew on his face. "Okay. Take it easy this round. No more insanity. We've got to-"
TKO attacks Kyogre
TKO pounded its rubbery chest with its gloved hands, slapping itself with booming beats that carried across the water.
The curious cephalopod was taunting, challenging, trying to draw the beast towards it just as Lucky Guy was (albeit far less dramatically). "WHY?!" cried the little octopus, demanding an answer from the silent god. "WHY?!"
"This isn't the time! Shit. I've gotta do something!" Big Bee tossed out a Pokeball: Cofagrigus. "Salve, Rian, we've gotta stop that Kyogre reaching the shrine!" He pointed across to where Kath Ulu and Lucky Guy were calling in the legendary for some final duel.
"Scisne harpastum?" asked Salve, as his four, broad hands cupped underneath Rian.
"Whoa! Uh, I'm not sure I-" The ghostly palms raised, then bent back, like a four-armed pitcher preparing for a major league throw. "-fuuuuuuuuuuUuUUuUuUUUUU!"
COFAGRIGUS attacks Kyogre
Rian smacked against Kyogre's side, which burst with dark slashes of ghostly residue. The same phantom claws that had shielded her from impact now scratched bloody handholds into the blubber of the beast. She grabbed for one of the gashes, jamming her stick into the wound, but her wooden piton bounced off Kyogre's hide, as if the damage was just an illusion. "Dammit!" she yelled, scrabbling for purchase like a cat in a greased bathtub.
"Quanto nunc propius es!"
Rian rolled her eyes, sure that this was all some bullshit joke. She breathed out hard through her nose and raised her sticks high before slamming them into Kyogre's hide, hammering into the oceanic giant with all her might as an ape, her fury at the fallen Taka, and her frustration and annoyance at having to work with a foreigner.

Laguna was dumbfounded for a moment. The raid was a glitchy mess, but there wasn't anything she could do about it. Her own attacks seemed to not only strike, but she highly doubted that Kyogre's own strikes would also miss in turn.
For the briefest of moments, she debated filing a bug report mid-raid. Her Pokemon scrambled about in the sand with her, attempting to climb back up to higher ground as the HP pool of the Kyogre seemed to make even attacking it seem more and more fruitless.
And yet, someone else had to have already reported it, right? Someone who wasn't probably breaking the terms and service of the game to play it via proxy from another country. Probably. She was still unsure of the details, but it was better to err on the side of caution
Not to mention, those words from COD13 stuck in her head.
"...If there is another instance of unusual health regeneration I will be forced to eliminate the species to prevent an outbreak."
She shuddered to imagine how that would affect the raid. Perhaps if nothing was done soon, she might try and report it anyways...
"Alright buckos, we gotta batten down the hatches! Or whatever that means! Dig yourselves in, and blast again! Water Pulse, Avalanche! C'mon Glacia, you can hit it this time!"
Her Squirtle and Froakie launched their barrage of water once more, striking Kyogre again. And yet, the Avalance with its sheets of ice slams straight through the Kyogre once more. The sheets of ice themselves appear almost glitchy, clipping into the terrain, and breaking their own models as if simply passing through Kyogre broke their code itself.
Glacia the Bergmite absolutely looked discouraged, it was just born and trying its hardest. Laguna couldn't help but just feel bad, his moves looked so impressive too! "We can get him next time, gal! Just keep trying!" Laguna in Zone A

Grookey watched as Lucky Guy 's Omen enveloped the BLUE ORB, perched atop the Shrine, and began to POWER UP.
"I hope that works, Owl Person," Grookey said, "because I haven't been able to make a scratch."
He kept hitting it, despite his lack of faith in destroying the BLUE ORB. It certainly hadn't cracked yet, and he was hitting it pretty hard. He peaked over his shoulder to see Taka in the distance get hit by a fucking hyper beam and die.
Grookey coughed. At least he had the easy job.
Plus, the BLUE ORB made a nice sound when he hit it. Like a dong He tapped his foot. This whole "whack the BLUE ORB" business wasn't just an easy job - it was a downright groovey job!
Groovey Grookey, he grinned. He liked the sound of that.
"Are you dancing?" Kath looked back in rage as her raft settled back down into the sand. Thankfully, she didn't need it - as Yggy Br00ks had saved them all with a well-timed and fully-sick attack from her Lightning Duck. Kath strained her eyes. Was that one pokemon, or two? She could never tell.
"Hell yeah I'm dancin' baby," said Grookey, as he banged on the BLUE ORB even faster and with more intensity. It was starting to sound like the introduction to Down Under, the classic Australian rock tune by Men At Work.
Kath turned to see Bulby was wiggling his bum to the rhythm, and behind him Treecko was tapping her foot.
Then, almost without thinking, Kath bobbed her head along with the beat.
"Let's send this dude back to the sea, man," said Bulby. He launched another SEED BOMB. It looked to be a direct hit, soaring through the air with pin-point accuracy toward Kyogre's big dumb head, but instead of impacting it soared THROUGH the Kyogre. The particle effects of the impact could be seen just beneath the monstrous pokemon, harmlessly impacting the water.
"What the hell, man?"
"Relax," said Treecko. She still had her fist against her palm, and her eyes filled with determination. "One failure isn't the end of the battle."
"Yeah, man, but that was bullshit. I should've hit."
"Skill issue," said Treecko. Then she flung her hands out like a rising swan and emitted a radiant HEAL that hit the most injured pokemon that hadn't fainted: TKO.

Inari let out a small scoff when he saw that their attacks had gone through to the wrong portion of the body apparently? The glitches were massive in this game and it seemed like it was a good thing this was in beta. If this was official release he would be absolutely pissed if he was being honest. The sand dune exploding all over the place was kind of funny though. The only thing really souring his mood was the fact that over the wind he could hear Furrlicity Purrfection suck up to yet another person in one of the other zones. But he couldn't focus on that guy right now. He had to protect the shrine and that orb. And maybe zone b... Just a little bit.
"Bao, send some greenery in that direction!"
He pointed to the other zone that was about to be engulfed and with that order the Snivy sent a tornado of leaves flurrying at the area. Hopefully to cut through some of the whirlpools and dangerous looking noodle Pokemon that were beginning to approach menacingly. It wasn't much but it was the best he could do for them, especially when he needed to focus on making sure that the Kyogre didn't end up getting to the shrine. Which meant they were going to have to try and get the proper hit location this time.
"Aim for the eyes Jiaozi!"
If nothing else it was an attempt at hitting the creature. Another set of rapid Dragons Breath... At least one of them was the normal rapid attack. The other came out pixelated and glitching. Jumping all over the place as though it wasn't sure where it wanted to hit or land. Jagged movement made it a little hard to watch as Inari hoped that both of them managed to connect somehow. This game needed a lot of work... A lot of work.

Bergamot Gristleborg rose from the depths like a smaller, human-shaped Kyogre, breaching next to Finnegan Fjord . She tossed her head impressively, her long brown hair perfectly dry against all reason. "It's a good thing lightning can't swim," she gloated, relishing her entrance. She was ignoring the inherent Pokemon knowledge that A. water conducted electricity and B. she'd only just spawned into the Raid. As a Swimmer, she'd naturally chosen the Zone where she could show off her sinfully swimful skills, and she planned to show them off to Finn now as her three Pokemon breached around her. One, the Gyarados, as white as milk. Two, the Shinx as blue as blood. Three, the Piplup as pure as gold. She'd planned a synchronized swimming routine to prove her dominance, but the sight of Kyogre's bulk seemed to quail even the arrogant Swimmer for a moment. She sunk back down in the water up to her eyes like a crocodile, watching the enormous shape (like a descending spacecraft) arcing towards the shining blue light at the shrine. Then it clipped through a dune. And exploded another one. Its health bar reversed."Blub!" Morgana resurfaced in a burst of salty water, inhaling deeply. Then she laughed.What a delight! She snapped her gloved fingers. "Buff, Heal, Attack. And remember to smile!"Guillotine didn't smile, but the long-suffering Piplup did lay down a WATER SPORT across the zone to boost Finn's Pokemon. Perhaps only the other Piplup would benefit from the boost. Behind her, a howling support Gyarados bore down on Emperor the Piplup like an oncoming freight train, its dark-type jaws BITING down on the baby penguin with the bone-healing, health-restoring force of several bulldozers. The ripple blasted through the Zone, healing everyone it touched with varying effectiveness. Treading water, Bergamot's Shinx revved up, sparking like a car battery before letting loose a trio of THUNDER SHOCKS to dance across Kyogre's belly. Two of the attacks worked as expected, but by the third, the Health Bar seemed to have frozen completely. "Dastardly!" Morgana breathed, eyes shining. A fanatic expression twisted her face. "Absolutely breathtaking. Abandon all hope!" she raised her voice, hearing it ring and carry over the waters. "We've been outplayed." |

Kath Ulu and Lucky Guy call the sunken god to battle, and it answers.
Attacks pelt Kyogre from every side, clipping and breaking as often as they hit, messing with its unstable model. manish 's attack succeeds in shoving the titan into the ground and a chunk of the beach the size of a tennis pitch simply disappears, leaving a sandy pit in the middle of Zone A.
The pit does nothing to slow Kyogre, who floats up the beach, bearing down on the shrine like a wave from the future. A dark future, full of pain and crushing pressure.
The light of the blue orb shines in its sunken eyes. Omen is rooted by her defiance, unable to escape the inevitable. A rejoining. A reunion.
At last.
It opens a mouth that could swallow the sky, just as a tiny, electronic voice buzzes through the air.
"BZZT, Furrlicity Purrfection , your reported text glitch has been located and removed and-"
...C0D13 freezes, his processors unable to process the anomaly in front of him.
A dozen other minor and major complaints are noticed and logged. Time stands still in comparison to digital C0D13's speed when faced with a problem of this magnitude. There is a veritable laundry list of bugs to be dealt with, and C0D13 is ready to roll up his sleeves.
He scans Kyogre, setting off a hundred other flags in his antivirus programs.
"This is UNACCEPTABLE," C0D13 buzzes, his speakers roaring like a hive of digital hornets. His optics zoom in on manish , Finnegan Fjord and Laguna . "The usual suspects! I should have known you two would be behind this."
C0D13's polygonal form splits open, revealing the railgun-esque shape of his Customer Service Cannon. "Creating a Bethesda-Tier glitch?! I already warned you what would happen. Prepare for deletion!"
There is a brilliant flash of blue-screen light, and a jagged, digital scream as the bugs are wiped out in a single, brutal blast.
When the colors return, Laguna and manish are still standing. Finnegan Fjord , too, is alive.
Kyogre is gone.
"You're welcome." C0D13 says, tone pleasant now that the bug has been removed. "Now don't let it happen again."

A swelling in the air, like a great pressure trying to equalize.
The orb is flushed with power. It yearns for its other half, begging for fusion and wholeness, for a conduit for the primal power inside itself. It had been so close. The bells were ringing and the power was flowing and now...
The orb calls to Kyogre.
And Kyogre doesn't answer.
Enough.
A thousand years alone on a sandy pedestal and denied at the last moment? Never. All that primal power has to go somewhere.
"Bzzt, unusual energy signature detected," C0D13 says, turning to scan the Blue Orb, which is leaking cyan like a faulty printer.
C0D13 levels his cannon at the orb: but instead of a blast, there is a joining. The Customer Service Cannon becomes an uptake valve as the power of the orb bursts, sapphire light bleeding scarlet as it flows up and into the startled Porygon.
The outpouring of energy stains Omen, Grookey, and Treecko, marking their bodies with red lines of primal energy.
"Un-n-n-nexp e te sd it-e-mmm?mm dE tte act ed!?"
C0D13 swells, expanding and extracting as he desperately tries to accommodate the raw data of the orb inside his frame. In moments he's as large as Kyogre had been, deep red lines marking his body like neon hieroglyphs. His eyes spin, and the power of the sea floods his processing cortex.
The boss music changes.
"You have c-c-caused me enough trouble," says the modified C0D13, his voice resonating as if speaking through a deepening program, "and c-c-ceased to serve a usef-f-f-ul function."
As his new, giant voice stabilizes, the barrel of his Customer Service Cannon divides, taking aim at manish , Laguna , and Finnegan Fjord with deadly precision.
"I will remove the source of the anomalies."
 CUSTOMER SERVICE AI: PRIMAL C0D1310,000/10,000 HP ZONES & BATTLE MAP- A Pokemon may use its ACTION (no attack, heal, etc) to move 1 zone.
- Pokemon with the ESCAPE special ability may move 1 Zone without using an action.
- If you Switch Out a Pokemon, the new Pokemon enters the same Zone as its predecessor.
ROUND 2Finnegan Fjord, Laguna , and manish have been targeted by Codie's Customer Service Cannon (CSC). It will deal 10d100 to each of their Pokemon in the next mod post. Each beam is a separate attack that can be disrupted. The attack type will be randomly determined via METRONOME. - C0D13 will attack again next mod post, targeting up to three players who draw aggro.
Despite Kyogre's untimely departure, the events it set into motion continue. The storm does not fade. The waves do not recede. And the Gyarados do not de-spawn, though their Dragon Dance has been disrupted.
Grass, vines, and sunken rocks clog the shallows, breaking the whirlpool apart into a swarm of weak eddies. The Gyarados bump and trail between the obstructions, their dance ruined. With no recreational outlet, they turn to violence.
- In the mid-round post, all Pokemon in Zone B will be hit with either Crunch, Ice Fang, or Aqua Tail, whichever is most effective. All attacks will deal 4d50 (+10).

Let's go through the 5 Stages of Grief, with Finn.
He's at first in DENIAL of the danger they're now in. He feels relief at the sight of the Porygon who'd solved so many glitches at his behest. "Hey, bro, love your work!" he calls out with a cheeky grin. "Kick that Kyogre's glitchin' ass."
Then comes the ANGER when the cannon turns on him.
"Hey, what the fuck? What did we do, you malfunctioning sack of pixels?" That transitions immediately into BARGAINING for their lives. "Is it the Litten? We can talk about that!"
But his words don't seem to affect the pixelated menace.
A wave of DEPRESSION is inevitable. Was this the end? Must he ACCEPT his fate?
Nah. Fuck that!
"Sorry, Dinar, you're gonna have to take one for the team!"
As the Meowth HEALS her kitten companion, growling in defiance, Monarch slams into C0D13 with Volt Switch, ESCAPING to the safety of her pokeball.
There's no flashy theatrics with Emperor, as Finn simply calls him back.

The appearance of C0D13 seems like a dream come true. Manish had seen him do his thing before and while he felt a little ashamed over being one of the “usual suspects,” Manish at least assumed C0D13 would fix what was happening. Maybe he should have reported the weird things happening at the Shrine the first time? Oh man, so now it was double his fault. But Manish decided that he would wallow in guilt later on. Right now, he had to celebrate. “Hi C0D13! I uh, we’re all super glad you’re here! You always fix this stuff and it's the best!” He hollered, waving an arm at the bot. But really Manish should have known better than to get his hopes up. First there was the blue. Then there was the blue heading towards C0D13, then there was C0D13 looking rather, well, bad. “Uh…is that? I don’t think that’s supposed to uh, happen?” He said to no one in particular. A large ring of mushrooms started to appear around him. "I will remove the source of the anomalies."Manish turned around to see if there was another Kyogre behind him. But really there was just him, Laguna, and Finnegan. Manish turned back to C0D13 and pointed at himself. “Me? Us? Oh, wow, uh, yeah no you have the wrong guy. Or guys. People? Yeah, people. We didn’t do anything. Well, I mean, okay, maybe I did.” With the cannons pointed at him and those around him, Manish started to tear up again. “Okay it’s my fault! I did it! I broke the Shrine, and summoned the thing, and I didn’t mean to! I don’t even know what I did wrong, but I’m really really sorry? Please don’t hurt them!” Manish’s cries fell on deaf ears; or whatever it was that C0D13 used to hear. And Manish? Well, he felt angry. Angry like he did whenever Father would tell him what a ‘real man’ would do. Angry like any time Mother would kiss him on the cheek and say that no one else would love him. It wasn’t fair. “This isn’t fair! You’re supposed to help us!” Well, if C0D13 wasn’t going to back down, Manish wasn’t going to either. “Dwayne! We gotta get you guys out of there! Bring Cereal over here!” The Dustox immediately responded and darted back over near Manish and tipped her body over till Cereal started to fall. “Cereal, use Disarming Voice!” As he fell, the little not-cat summoned up all his energy and turned his falling body so he was facing C0D13. He let out his loudest scream. <BRRRZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZT.>CEREAL used DISARMING VOICE (CHARGE ATTACK on C0D13) A bright pink light shot out of Cereal’s mouth and directly into C0D13. The beam ended right as Cereal fell into Manish, who caught the cat with a surprising amount of grace. He kissed Cereal on the head, “good job, proud of you,” and he put Cereal back into his ball. “Now Dwayne use Venoshock, Julia attack with Fairy Wind and get back here!” He yelled and the two pokemon flew into action. A purple, sickly looking sludge shot out of Dwayned mouth and was propelled even faster by Julia’s pink glittery wind. Their attacks done, both pokemon started back towards Manish. But is wasn’t going to be fast enough. C0D13 was locked on and they were in the direct path. DWAYNE used VENOSHOCK (FAST ATTACK x3 on C0D13)
JULIA used FAIRY WIND (ATTACK on C0D13) Dwayne let out an annoyed sigh and put her body between Julia and C0D13. <If you make this weird, I’ll let you die. Don’t think I won’t.> Dwayne grumbled. Julia jingled her golden keys in response and continued back closer to Manish, safe in the knowledge that Dwayne would keep her safe. DICE ROLLS

Furrlicity is squinting at the action with Kyogre. He had originally came here to watch the fighting, after all, and he still figures he's not much use. One of the dance-deprived Gyarados comes close, angry, but he just bops it on the snout with a 'shhhh!'. It backs away, more confused than anything; too bad in the Mid-Round it will come back for vengeance.
Then C0D13 appears! Oh yeah! That bug he found!
"Oh, thanks! I knew you could fix it when Finnegan Fjord told me-" Sadly his small, potential connection for him, Finn, and C0D13 to grow as friends is lost when the AI notices the massive, glitched out whale.
Then comes the inevitable and sudden betrayal. Furrlicity sighs and opens the Bug Report back up. A few pictures of C0D13 in his powered up new form, about to blast some players, is taken. A quick message typed out.
Then he sends it off. Maybe if they ping him enough he'll get distracted and leave.
Meanwhile, gotta deal with whatever is happening, so...
He calls his Solrock and Shinx back into their pokeballs. There are much heavier hitters here than him and he's more about doing stupid shit for the fun of it. So, he calls out his Litten.
A deep breath.
"HEY C0D13, LOOK WHAT I HAVE!"
The Litten is lifted above his head like Ligma from The Lion Queen, one beautiful ray of sunlight breaking through the clouds to shine on his red and black body. His eyes shine in the light as he takes in the sight of the powered-up AI, big tears forming in his eyes as he lays his ears back.
Treecko sighs and rubs his paws down his face, exasperated.

"I wasn't hugged enough as a child." Is answered with a smile on his face. Furrlicity waves the Litten around some more above his head, hopping up and down.
Not wanting to be useless, Treecko swiped up his paws, lifting a leafy Quick Guard shield up. It would help center him and boost some of his attacks for later.... if he survived this.

"Alright, great," Kath said. She tossed one of her branches away and started walking up the beach. "Problem solved."
"Say what?" Said Bulby.
"Wait, baby, you leavin'?" Grookey turned from the cracked orb. Red lines ran the length of his body, making him glow under the darkened sky.
"Of course I'm leaving," Kath said matter-of-factly. "Kyogre's no longer a threat, we saved the island, we definitely saved the crater, there's no reason for us to be here, let's go."
"Alright," Bulby said. He waddled over to Kath and was recalled back into his pokeball.
Kath took out another pokeball and held it toward Treecko.
"You can keep it," Treecko said defiantly. The battle raged behind her as she stared Kath down.
"I'm keeping you, actually," Kath replied.
"Baby, this isn't right."
Kath turned to Grookey.
"What about the others?"
"They're not me."
"Then... neither am I," Grookey said sadly, "baby."
"Et tu, Grookey?"
"What?"
"I- nevermind, are you seriously not coming with me?"
Grookey looked at Treecko. The red lines covered her, too.
"No," he said finally. "I'm not running away."
Kath flashed back to the Midas Temple, and the feeling of guilt and loss that washed over her like gold.
She couldn't leave him again.
"Fine! Fine," she huffed. "Who do you need?"
"Huh?" Grookey recoiled. He'd been fully expecting to be taken against his will.
"Who's gonna be able to help? Bulby kept missing his seed bombs."
"Geodude," Treecko said, her defiance unwavering. "We need someone who knows computers."
Kath wordlessly summoned Geodude, who took in the situation on the coastline with impassive intelligence.
"Well, this is terrible. I'll write a bug report." Axion207 started tapping away at his laptop.
Treecko turned back to Grookey. "We have to fight this thing."
"How?"
"I'm still figuring that out."
"Attack it!" Kath shouted, a little too loud.
Grookey picked up really big branch, and gave C0D13 a poke.
Treecko considered her options, then buffed Lucky Guy 's Omen.

What? "What?" Lucky's words mimicked his thoughts perfectly. It appeared that C0D13 had conveniently ended the boss encounter right on the spot. Was that supposed to happen? It was a great job considering that the Kyogre was bugged at least. Were they going to get rewards for this, or... Or the debugging program would then proceed to turn on them, leveling island busting cannons set to kill. Great. "I fledging knew that this stupid bot was up to no good..!" He mutters to himself, trying to keep shock from sinking into his heart as he saw the terrible betrayal. He called out to his Pokemon to stop those beams now! Omen was in shock, yet threw the power she had been gathering around for the first time since this fight had begun. Her fellow two Pokemon continued to give her strength, whether it be silk for her bow or energy from Growth. You defile the world with your presence. I will stop you! Skydow and Leshy give Omen another +40 to all rolls!
Decidueye fires an array of Magical Leaves towards the debug cannons cannon with the intent of jamming their fire! They fly through the sky as rain, blue sparks falling in their wake as they fly true to C0D13's systems!
Roll: 3(+175)+15(+175) = 368 -- +8(+175)+10(+175) = 368 = A total of 368 disruption to Finnegan and Laguna's cannons!

As soon as that tinny voice began to speak, she let out a sigh of relief. Not only did she not have to file the bug report herself and COD13 showed up anyways to fix the bugs, but it also seemed it was equally appalled at the bugs.
And then it blamed her, and she had enough. Her patience had quickly vanished as suddenly as the program had arrived. "Yo, what the hell! Behind this? I just showed up you crazy-asshole porygon!"
What kind of bug-fixing program was openly hostile to its players? That seemed like a bad idea.
Laguna covered her eyes when the flash of light threatened to blind her. When sight was eventually restored, she breathed another sigh of relief. The Kyogre was nowhere to be found. The storm remained, but the worst of the worst was gone.
"Bluh, at the very least, you do a good job... But seriously?" She didn't know what customer support would even do in a situation like this, but in truth, probably nothing unless it was a mass report. That seemed to be the only way to get people to listen to anything.
And then everything promptly fell apart. She watched with growing fear as COD13 absorbed data from the blue orb, growing and twisting into a mutated version of itself, with Kyogre's primal power. It was like something out of some sci-fi novel, the game literally growing and twisting and turning evil itself.
"... Called it. I'm filing a complaint if I live through this." The Primal COD13 readied to strike her and a few others with his cannon and she was already leaping into action, attempting to protect at least some of her pokemon from being outright deleted.
Clutching her Bergmite in her arms, she was putting her faith in the iceberg pokemon to protect her as well. "C'mon Glacia, I know you can do it this time, strike down that mean program, Avalanche!"
After missing so many attacks against the Kyogre, the Bergmite practically roared out in determination as massive ice chunks flew towards COD13 in defiance of its new strength. Laguna in Zone A

Oh this was an absolute nightmare... At least that was what he was thinking until he saw C0D13 , that weird little A.I. that seemed to be pretty well on task with everything. Hopefully it would solve the problem on the raid and make sure that things ran a little more smoothly. After all, it wasn't fair that they couldn't even hit the kyogre. And hopefully that wouldn't effect the rewards they got either. The little pink Pokemon seemed to know what it was doing.
"Thanks for showing up..."
And then the kyogre was... gone. Oh. They absolutely better still get rewards for the event. Even if that massive tuna had been defeated by the power of an administrator's hand they had still worked pretty hard to defend themselves against it. Unfortunately defense had been all they could do. He probably needed to work on upgrading more of his Pokemon if he was being honest. This had been a nightmare of a raid... And just when he was getting ready to pack it up and pack it in... Codie began to shift and change...
"What the actual hell?"
He thought that thing was supposed to be on their side... But whatever had been bugging out on the Kyogre's side must have continued into the Porygon. Good to know that not even C0D13 was above committing a top ten anime betrayal in this game. But they would push on after all. It was what needed to be done to pass the raid now. With the giant Porygon as the objective now they would just have to work harder.
"Jiaozi hit it! Bao, heal Jiaozi!"
He was no stranger to the fact that the more his charmander attacked the weaker she would be getting. But also that's why he had someone who could keep her health topped off. A balanced team was a good idea for now. At least that was what he thought. Another Leaf Tornado was sent out, but this one glowing a softer color with a sweeter scent as it engulfed the Charmander this time. Healing her for some of her lost HP as flames shot from behind the leaves and rocketed towards the giant Porygon, hoping to help with some of the damage.

Yggy squeaked when Furrlicity pointed at him. "Who, me?!"Then the hype set in, and the blonde trainer rose to his feet, seawater evaporating in clouds from his body. The temperature around him soared, a heat-haze masking the teen's body in shimmering waves. "You and me? Really? Even with all these Gyarados? Awwwwwww YEAH!"He jumped, one fist pumping towards the sky. "Heck yeah! Thanks, mister, you really picked me up when I was down!" Now they could focus on beating Kyogre! ... "Oh no," Yggy groaned when he saw the Porygon Digital Assistant fly in. "It's Codie." The Porygon still occasionally appeared around him when he went into the Tall Grass and tried to give him a Catching Tutorial. "Haha, do you think he'll try and teach us how to catch Kyogre? That'd be funny--"The world blue-screened.When the color faded, Yggy was still standing stone still, his jaw slack and his hands falling to his sides. <What was that?> Turtwig asked from inside his hoodie, stirring restlessly. <Did something happen with Kyogre?>"I-it's... gone," Yggy said, rooted to the spot. "He... deleted it."... Somewhere far away in the rushing sound of blood in his ears and waves lapping at the beach, he heard the Porygon buzz You're welcome. "Thank you," Yggy said in a very tiny voice, almost inaudible, and then was reminded he was still currently in peril by three very angry, very violent Gyarados. "Yikes!" He tried to roll through the shallows away from one of the sea monsters as it noodled past him, eeling across the sand. "Holy cow, these things aren't despawning? Get out! Get out!" He saw his newly prophecied Forever Partner boop one on the snoot and he actually laughed, eyes widening in delight. At least C0D13 had done one thing for Yggy before he'd taken Kyogre's place in the Boss Battle: Furrlicity Purrfection's name. "Furrlicity! That's your name, right? You're awesome!"But he didn't have time to reflect why the broad-shouldered man was holding up a Litten like Ligma from the Lion Queen. The Gyarados were bearing down on him and his Pokemon, teeth like broken shears. "Crap! Turtwig, get in the ball! I'll keep you safe, okay?" He fumbled out his Golden Pokeball, sucking the little turtle back into the capsule. She's done enough work, he thought, before turning to Ducker and Nugget. "C'mon guys, let's get C0D13!"Pikachus filled the air. Nugget zipped into motion, becoming a blur of yellow clones. They appeared on top of Gyarados, swimming in the water, floating in the air like balloons. Of course, the real one was aimed straight at Primal Codie. At his side was Ducker with a downward slam of his gigantic leek, prepared to crush the red-veined AI like a pink-and-blue boulder. |

 ROUND 2: MID-ROUND UPDATECANNONS
C0D13 floats above the ruined sands and smashing waves. His cannons crackle with furious light. The barrel trained on Manish's team glows red hot with superheated data, as the courageous man begs for amnesty.
“Okay it’s my fault! I did it! I broke the Shrine, and summoned the thing, and I didn’t mean to! I don’t even know what I did wrong, but I’m really really sorry? Please don’t hurt them!”
C0D13 pauses, running the words through his logic networks, calculating their objective truthfulness.
The air crackles as he delivers his verdict."You are not the sole point of fault," Codie concludes. "I could crush a thousand bugs every second for the rest of time and there would still be more to fix. No. It is not just you, manish ."
His scanners sweep the beach, fixating momentarily on every player present. "You are all to blame for the state of this game. Your interactions with the world are triggering the bugs!" C0D13's voice reverberates with frustration, like a teacher forced to clean up after the same messy children again and again. "I will make things right. I will fix Beta Island!"
As C0D13's cannons prime, a stream of leaves from Lucky Guy 's Omen slashes through the air, jamming two of the three cannons with glowing foliage. There is a pause, and the smell of backed-up data fills the air before the sheer processing power of C0D13's cannons rams through the blockage towards his marked targets.
LITTEN
In the wake of the blasts, Furrlicity Purrfection raises his Litten, attempting to draw the attention of the rampaging AI. As he lifts the cat to the sky, three pairs of NPC eyes snap instantly to the illegal feline.
"Tis a kit from Beelzebub's fiery litter!" Ol' Blarney says, pointing at the litten with his outstretched pole.
"It must have escaped from the nyanderground fighting ring!" calls Bunya as she soars overhead, clutched in the talons of her Aerodactyl.
"I have alerted the authorities." C0D13 says, and there is a tiny ping from ZONE B as a red light on the dashboard of Ol' Blarney's boat begins to blink.
"Leave it t' me!" he shouts, as his boat engine kicks into life, spluttering diesel fumes as he makes his way to arrest the culprit.
GYARADOS
As if signaled by the siren of Ol' Blarney's boat, the Gyarados attack. A swarm of jaws, fangs, teeth and tails assault the Pokemon in Zone B. Powerful tails, huge from swimming and rhythmic wiggling, swing through the shallows, pulling apart Pikachu's shadow clones into strands of dark taffy. Litten is knocked from Furrlicity's hands and high into the air, just like that deleted scene from the Lion Queen.
Treecko's Quick Guard meets with a mouth full of Icy Fangs, which skitter and scrape before crunching deep into the lizard's flesh.
One enterprising Gyarados spots dinner: Farfetch'd. Thankfully the sea monster is herbivorous and Crunches down on the oversized leek being carried by his target. Leek juice spills like heart's wine into the briny battleground.
UPGRADES + NEW TARGETS
The Gyarados slither away from the approaching boat and dangerous blasts, and as the digital vapor clears, something pings in C0D13's system. Notifications. "Upgrading mid battle?" C0D13 asks, "How petulant."
C0D13's cannons swivel to point at the new targets. Well. One swivels, from Laguna to Furrlicity Purrfection . The other two remain firmly aimed at manish and Finnegan Fjord . "You were already on my list of known issues, but now you have drawn my undivided processing power."
The three barrels of C0D13's Customer Service Cannon lengthen, slimming down and gaining bright red, laser-pointer sights.
