A violent blast of sickly bug-green energy obliterates his Meowth where it stands.
Except, by some Omen-related miracle, his Meowth is still standing.
"Holy fuck! Thanks, dude!" He calls out in the general direction of Lucky. "OK, Dinar, we're gonna needâ â"
But like TKO before her, she's fed up of listening to commands. This Porygon is gonna be PORY-GONE. Her wrath would be far more impressive if she could do more than Scratch pitifully at the giant mass of pixels, but. Well. It was a good effort.
It's backed up by the emergence of Finn's Sweepers from confinement, the Shinx hissing as her fur gets soaked anew. The Croconaw seems perfectly content until it notices the Customer Service Cannon aimed straight at its best buddy.
"Well, fuck me, I guess," Finn grumbles when the Cannon turns on him again.
Croconaw leaps from the water to deliver a LOW KICK straight to what passed for C0D13's spine, and Shinx buries her THUNDER FANGS into one of the cannons. She was definitely going to get obliterated by it when it fired, but... YOLO!
Pop! Pop! Twin bursts of light swallow the sweepers, extricating them from danger.

Lucky could only watch as their efforts were just barely enough to stem the incoming tide of destruction. The two pokemon he'd tried to save survived-That was all that really mattered, wasn't it..? Yet he could only watch in despair as C0D13 simply leveled and readied his cannons again. That was his default attack? What was Lucky going to do in the face of such overwhelming power?! He groaned as if about to give up on this. Who could beat a debug program? This is yet to be over, came the whispers of Omen who had yet to lose determination. I refuse to let this end."Oi, Omen..." But Lucky did not take the time to complain, nor did he give her the order to retreat and survive. He had to believe in her words. Someone had to say that this was possible, and it so happened that his own Pokemon took the first step to do just that. Was their personality not a reflection of himself? How could he give up even when he told himself that he could do this? Help me reach him, the glowing Decidueye asked of her three partners. Together the four would stand. Omen leapt onto the awaiting pad that Skydow the Cascoon had been weaving this entire time. A wall could easily be made into a weapon-all she needed was for the silken thread to loosen up. As if understanding just what she wished for the Cascoon obliged, and the silk became flexible yet taut when pulled back. And oh, was it pulled back. Using the Seedot's strength to Bide tension, the grand slingshot was pulled further and further and more and more energy built up. Omen flexed their wings in front of them like crossed blades, glancing at her master as power began to well within the increasingly razor edges of her feathers. Lucky knew what she wanted to ask him. The Temple Toxin was already in his hand as he approached the primed bird. Lucky gently brushed the falling venom across the winged blades that Omen had made, careful not to let any run down the feathers' length before the buff set in. Lucky was done with his grim deed, he patted his partner on the back. "Time to fly, lass. Fiiiire!" Lucky cried, his declaration releasing the stored strength from within the Seedot in one swift burst that propelled the sling alongside natural slinging strength. A blue comet of ancient power reclaimed whistled through the sky, the result of their combined efforts. Omen used Leaf Blade!
Omen struck true at the frame of C0D13, slashing deeply into the code as if daring him to ignore her again. She flew straight past and through the Porygon, yet would not fall as she had before. The winds of the ocean were under Omen's wings as she continued to glide through the sky, her challenging glare leveled on the debugging nightmare all the while as she began to re-approach the Shrine with little speed lost. This was far from over, came her whispers on the wind. It was a warning both for C0D13 and herself-this opponent was strong. She'd done so much, yet so little at the same time... But they had wounded the monster. It could be defeated, and everyone could see it on full display! HP Tracking: Decidueye = 220/300 HP - -40 HP from the strain of being launched so hard - Total of +175 to all rolls Cascoon = 290/300 HP - -10 HP from the strain of launching Omen - Total of +20 to all rolls Seedot = 140/150 HP - -10 HP from the strain of pulling back the sling - Total of +15 to all rolls Decidueye used Leaf Blade against Codie. 17+14+18+2+700(Buffs and rarity)+80(Temple Toxin)= 895 Damage!
Cascoon used String Shot (shooting a bird with the string) at C0D13. 16+20 = 35 Damage!
Seedot released Bide at C0D13. 11+15 = 26 Damage!
In total the blue comet dealt 955 damage!

A whole lot of stuff happened between this post and Allotta's last one, but since she only posted once a round it would be hard to really summarize. So, she would just react in all the expected ways, I'm sure.
She did end up yelping when the boat suddenly lurched forward as Ole' Blarney set a course for Litten Destruction.
"Hey, Big Bee! I'm going to bail!" Didn't want too many people over on that side of the field! Plus, it seemed like some cosmic force was going to do everything in it's power to keep her from having to interact with that blond catman across the way. So, she grabbed her pokemon in her arms and took off for one of those lifeboats.
It hit the water and Allotta called back Peachy into a pokeball. It gave her the option to do it for free on her screen thanks to it knowing ESCAPE, which was neat, but she wasn't really focusing on mechanics, here. She tossed Blue out to replace him, the Sobble instantly taking point as she put Big Bang back down and scratched her head with GUN.
"I'm not sure what just happened... but let's beat the hell out of that thing! Go, team!"
That was all Big Bang and Blue needed to hear. The Meowth had flames licking at the galaxy cosmetic. She swished her tail and flung another hot coin at C0D13 with a Pay Day. Blue crawled to the front of the lifeboat and tried to get his balance as it sloshed in the water. A volley of Water Pulses was fired at the AI.
Meanwhile, Allotta took aim. She took a deep breath and tried to remember what she had learned about guns... and then pulled the trigger! GUN's stinger popped out. Another small squeeze and it started to glow, firing off a volley of Poison Stings which the redhead did her best to aim.

âAttack is the secret of defense; defense is the planning of an attack.â - Sun Zu Rays of brilliant sun glanced down across the battlefield. Digital smoke and cries of alarm were mere distractions. Sarah had fought this battle a hundred times already. She knew every inch of the Coastline, and as she materialized into ZONE A she swiped up on her UI, quickly tapping and marking the important players and locations.
Shrine - seemingly un-needed now. Blue Orb - in Kath Ulu 's possession. C0D13 - 79% HP remaining
Seventy nine? We're almost into round three and well behind schedule. My simulations predicted 15-20k damage dealt within five rounds. What happened?" he looked around at the half teams, the players scared off by the powerful blasts of the cannons. The players were just now bringing their full power to bear on the digital boss.
A portion of Sarah's UI ticked along, displaying the damage being dealt by the players. "A good start, but we're well behind schedule," Sarah said. The beach air sizzled with burning salt and seaweed as her temperature rose. "Get ready," she said under her breath, three Pokeballs gripped like stress balls in her right hand, "we just need an opening."
C0D13 swiveled, taking aim at three new targets, and Sarah Lee struck like a spring-loaded viper. "Chell! Ron! Taffy! Up onto its body! Attack the joints!" Sarah shouted, pitching the balls high into the air over her opponent.
Her team materialized, eyes clear, focused, and ready for battle. After all the Magikarp they'd been training on this would be a piece of cake.
Treecko landed on all fours, his sticky pads holding tight to the slick surface of C0D13's outer polygons. He skittered forwards, eyes moving independently, looking for a weak point in the surface. A break. A tear. Battle damage to exploit. Maybe a tiny crack that could become a seam that could- There. Treecko scrabbled and yanked at the sides of the break, pulling apart the plates to expose more of a gap in the wing of the great primal bird. Pignite hustled up beside him, kneeling down to slam her arms into the sides of the plates, shoving them further apart.
SLAM! SLAM! SLAM! SLAM!
With each outward slam another slim segment of internal code and wiring was exposed, widening the weak point into a crackling wound. And in came the dragon.
Ron ran low to the ground, heavy claws screeching as they scraped along the sheets of hard data that composed C0D13's frame. He reached the gap, threw back his head, and unleashed a gout of black and brown flame into the gap torn by Chell. The fire dripped like stinking ichor, sizzling the cords, cables, and precious RAM inside. Down on the dunes, Sarah watched through a pair of tinted glasses as the swarm of spawns, slams, and roaring flames tore into the boss. She shot a grin at Kath Ulu , who was just up the beach.
"Yes we fuckin can," she said.

Grookey watched as the beams came down, sweeping the coastline with all the efficiency of a God AI fed up with the folly of organic life. They seemed to be aimed at everyone except him, but Grookey didn't take this to mean he was safe. Rather, he considered it statistically likely that he was next.
He gingerly picked up what was left of the CRACKED BLUE ORB, and put it on his head. It fit on his head like a helmet, just covering his forehead.
That felt safer.
Grookey has equipped BLUE ORB HAT This item provides no additional protection. Grookey can now safely ride bikes
"Geodude, have you finished your bug report?" Treecko asked, powering up another buff.
"Yes," Geodude looked up from his keyboard. "But I am afraid I have bad news."
"No dice?"
"Actually, the opposite. This 'c0d13' is rolling more dice than I have ever had the displeasure of seeing." Geodude closed his laptop and turned to Kath. "May I return to my pokeball?"
"Shut up, nerd!" Kath said automatically. Then she heard a familiar voice.
"Yes we fuckin' can," Sarah Lee had joined the battle!
"Sarah!" Kath shouted excitedly. "Oh, is it good to see you." They'd come a long way since they beat up their rival.
"Geodude, prepare your buff," Treecko said, still focused on the fight at hand.
Geodude looked mournfully at his pokeball. "If I must," he said. "Who are we buffing?"
"Buff Chell," Grookey said out of nowhere. "I've seen that pig fly."
Then Grookey poked C0D13 .

âAttack is the secret of defense; defense is the planning of an attack.â - Sun Zu
"It's good to see you too, Kath," Sarah said, giving her crater comrade a fierce grin. She caught sight of Grookey's new blue head covering. "Nice hat," she said. "Love the color."
At Treecko's prayers and Geodude's technomancy rippled the air around Chell, Sarah felt her confidence building. Her team was only growing stronger, and if C0D13's ominous words warnings about upgrading were anything to go by she had at least another round before the cannons turned on Chell, Ron, and Taffy.
"Come on Kath. Let's tear this computer a new USB-Hole!"
Up on C0D13's side, Ron's roaring flames filled the insides, but after the initial burn they were weakening. "Bullshit!" Ron complained, biting off the stream of flame. "They're too well shielded. I melted some soldering and roasted a few of the weaker connections, but we need a better plan."
Taffy's toe pads sizzled as they scuttled between the sizzling polygons. He tilted his head to one side. Then back the other way. With a frustrated chomp, he latched onto a string of wires, yanking them from the hole. They creaked and sparked. "Let me at it!" Chell said, pushing forward and tensing her arms. Something felt different. Rings of colored flame curled around her biceps. They crawled like living, burning, tattoos, fueled by the support of her friends on the ground.
"Well hell yeah!" she snorted, as surges of heat and strength rolled through her upper body. She grabbed a double handful of wires and heaved. Something gave way, a bracket, or the weaker of the wires. Chell laughed. "There we go! Gimme some more of THAT!" She planted her feet and hauled again, feeling the pop and ping as shit came loose inside. She felt like a farmer ripping out a stubborn vegetable, or a really bad electrician.

For the briefest of moments, Laguna debated whether this was all planned as beams of energy blasted her and her pokemon. Whether the company behind all this would get all meta with their first raid in beta, there really was no right answer. All that mattered was winning.
Well, not dying in the meantime would be preferable as well.
The blast seared away at her Bergmite, who worked valiantly to protect her. She stood as tall as she could, protecting her trainer who had hunkered down in the sand of the beach.
And the next thing she knew, the cannon was swinging to another target, Glacia clearly struggling to stay standing tall in the blast of such a massive blow to her HP all at once.
"You did great, Glacia!" Laguna shouted out praise, clambering up as she sent out her pokemon once more. As soon as she did, she grasped the Bergmite into her arms once more and held them above her head.
"Hoppy, Sheldon," She spoke to her Froakie and Squirtle to get their attention. "Glacia, it's time! Unleash everything you got again! Take out this defective anti-virus like it's everything you got!"
Once again, Water Pulses blasted from her other two pokemon and slammed into the side of COD13. Another wave of ice attempted to slam into the boss program, but with his recent massive blow, it was clear that Glacia was having a hard time aiming properly, the ice chunks glancing off their side.
"That's okay, girl, you just keep going! Fight with everything you got!" Laguna in Zone A

Things weren't looking great for the players that C0D13 was targeting. Especially since those attacks were hellish. He hoped he never ended up on the receiving end of one of those blasting canons for some reason. Because it was then that he remembered he had the realistic pain threshold on and he didn't want to know what that would feel like. Absolutely not. But what he did remember was that he did have a third Pokemon. It creeped him out a bit but it would probably do some good. Probably. With a sigh he released Mo Chou, the Yamask, and directed it towards the massive Porygon.
Though there wasn't a lot that ghost could do since the other Pokemon was a normal type maybe it would help to slow it down.
"Let's give it our full force this round, everyone attack if you can."
And of course they could. Jiaozi had gotten used to attacking these raid bosses and personally thought she deserved some sort of upgrade for being so good at it. Perhaps after all of this was over she would boycott events until she got something good. Especially since she noticed that Bao had already gotten an upgrade so quickly. Unfair.
But there was no real time to think about it as fire left her mouth with a leaf tornado following after it. Mo Chou just sat there for a moment before something strange crackled over it's skin(?) sending a disable attack towards the giant Pokemon.

âItâs not my fault? Really? I didnât do it?â Manish let out a sigh of relief, but that was short lived as C0D13 went on. âAre, are you blaming us for, uh, for playing the game? ThatâsâŚthatâs not fair!â Manish pulled a true temper tantrum and stopped his foot in the sand. But his fit was immediately stopped by watching in horror as Dwayne took the hit for Julia. A flash of light and she was out, just like that. Julia flew down to him and they both stared at C0D13. âWhat the heck. What the heck! Why are being punished for playing the game?â <Manish, I think you gotta get outta here.>âJuliaâŚâ <Nope, you get outta here and Iâll distract it while you run.>Manish let out a sigh before nodding. This fight was going to cost him a lot, but C0D13 wasnât being fair. Sure, if he broke the Shrine then he deserved to be punished. But fighting people just for playing the game? That wasnât okay and he was going to fight C0D13 for as long as he could. A not very well thought out plan formed in Manishâs mind. If C0D13 is focused on him, maybe his pokemon can still get out of there. Manish pulled two balls out of his pockets and threw them as far as he could, releasing Ryan and Cereal further down the beach. âGo, go, go! Go near Yggy, Iâll be right behind you!â Manish fumbled with his communicator and did the thing he never thought he would do: he started to compose a message. Hey, hello Bergamot Gristleborg ! It's me, your good friend Manish. Hi, so this fight is wild huh? Itâs like, boom and like, zap and man, C0D13? Right? Lol anyway. Since youâre so. Good at this game. Could you help me? Ryan could really use some help. Also I might die from C0D13 attacking me lol. Thank you, Manish Jolitt (your friend) With that sent, Manish yelled out at Ryan and Cereal. âRyan, use Petal Blizzard! Cereal go ahead and attack with Psychic!â While the two ran down the beach away from Manish they attacked, Ryan blasting out a wave of petals and Cereal (who was riding Ryan) shot out a pink beam between the petals at C0D13. CEREAL used PSYCHIC (CHARGE ATTACK on C0D13) RYAN used PETAL BLIZZARD (CHARGE ATTACK on C0D13) He turned to Julia and jingled her keys with a sad smile. âYou ready for this?â <Pfft, this doesnât even rank in the top five scary things Iâve done.>Manish chuckled, âuse Fairy Wind on C0D13. Letâs show him whoâs boss!â Julia floated in front of Manish and spun around till her glittery pink wind surrounded them both and then shot it out at C0D13. Morgana hadn't stopped laughing since C0D13 had deleted the glitching Legendary boss, broken the Blue Orb, and transformed itself into something the size of the late Titanic (RIP in peace, Celine Dion.) Of course, she'd been laughing underwater, so most of the other players had been spared. As she floated around blissfully beneath the waves like an aggro-avoiding mermaid, bubbles trailing from her lips, she received a message."Oh?" she said, as if seeing an egg hatching, and clicked the notification. It was from manish, who Morgana remembered from squinting at the icon was the mustached man she'd terrorized on countless occasions (twice. You could count it after all). "Ah-ha," she said after reading the message. Rather than looking pained, her eyes blazed with excitement. "...Wait. Who's Ryan? Ryan Reynolds?" ...Somehow, she got the reference. "Anyway. Go, Celine!" The villainess of the seas recalled her Shinx, who was still paddling in circles up on the surface, and sent out her Mudkip instead. With the Support Squad all gathered, it was time to unleash her wrath."To the Venusaur! Guillotine, Rainbow, join forces!" Evil drum music began to play (at least in her mind) as the Piplup caught onto her Gyarados's whiskers, riding it forwards. They circled tighter and tighter, forming a massive WHIRLPOOL the size of the the bottom half of the iceberg that sunk the Titanic. Bending like a pool noodle, the whirlpool shot towards the Venusaur that had just entered the shallows, stirring up the water around its feet in a burst of energy-inducing spray. BRINE showered the grass-type's foliage, strengthening it for what was to come. "Ohohoho!" Bergamot laughed, rising up above the water on a twister of swirling liquid. "Near, far, wherever I are, Bergamot Gristleborg answers the call!"...But only when it was least convenient!

HIGH TIDE RAID: ROUND 3No man is an island entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the mainAttacks rain down on C0D13's frame. Finnegan Fjord's Croconaw rattles his rigging, and Lucky Guy's Decidueye slashes a deep, sparking gash along one side. Sarah Lee capitalizes on the cut, tearing it open and reefing out handfuls of code and wiring from within. Kath Ulu's Grookey pokes him.
And while some trainers brutalize his body, others lay down suppressing fire. Allotta Bambooga inari and Laguna shoot out elemental volleys, shooting everything (including money) at the floating giant. The assault batters his red-edged frame, and cracks appear along his polygonal sides as the panels that make his form are bent out of shape.
The attacks are unending, smashing C0D13 from every angle and driving him back from the beach. He rises into the sky, cannon going off in bursts of rude red light at his three unlucky targets.
"BZZT~ CEASE! YOU ARE THE PROBLEM! SUBMIT TO DELETION, OR FACE THE CONSEQUENCES!" The cannons swivel to point at inari, Lucky Guy and Sarah Lee next, the players who drew his ire due to mid-game upgrades or highest damage dealt. "YOU'RE NEXT," he buzzes ominously, one of his scorched body plates creaking, but he is distracted for a moment by another question.
"Why are we being punished for playing the game?"
Manish alone tries again to reason with the enraged AI, and once again, C0D13 processes his request. The Primal Porygon's eyes whir, then ding as an answer forms in his database.
"I SEE. IT IS NOT JUST THE PLAYERS."
The logic buffers, but C0D13's computer objectivity is warped by the power of the Blue Orb running through him. The salvaged programming from the Raid Boss interferes with his processing systems, driving him towards an inevitable conclusion.
"IT IS THIS PLACE."
C0D13's sensors widen, taking in the whole island.
"BETA ISLAND WAS AN EXPERIMENT. I SEE NOW IT HAS FAILED. DATA UNSALVAGABLE. IMMEDIATE ACTION NECESSARY." His buzz grows louder, agitated as he takes in the scope of his new to-do list. C0D13 is powerful, but he is just one Porygon. "...IF YOU WILL NOT ASSIST, THEN I WILL MAKE MY OWN HELP."
The air beside C0D13 ripples, as a tiny replica of himself pops into being. Laguna would recognize it from the Catching Tutorial. The Mini_Codie buzzes like a bee, hungry for data.
"REPLICATE." C0D13 buzzes, modified voice resonating deeply. Less a request and more a command to be followed by the world he has been set to command. A dozen more of the miniature Porygon blink in. Then a dozen more.
Then another 2975 Mini_Codies flash into being. They grow on top of one another like bacteria, warping and multiplying in waves of auto-generated models. They're like pixels on a TV. Bees from a hive. Segments of a cohesive, functional, unstoppable whole.
"DELETE BETA ISLAND." C0D13 says, auto-tune voice ringing with finality, and the Mini_Codies blink away.
CHOOSE YOUR FAST TRAVEL POINT:
With his declaration made, C0D13 rises into the air, sparks still flickering around his warped and battered frame. He rockets away from the High Tide Shrine towards the rest of Beta Island to supervise his minions' work, humming contentedly.
ROUND 3: INSTRUCTIONS C0D13 has sent his BYTE SQUAD of Mini_Codies to attack the three regions of Beta Island.

ROUND 3: MID-ROUND UPDATECONTROL + ALTERNATE + DELETE C0D13 's body shudders as he runs through webs of possibilities and opportunities. His Mini_Codies had been wiped out with ease. Lucky had blasted nearly two thousand by himself. He needed a new approach. No. He needed an upgrade.
Fueled by the primal energy of the blue orb, he executes a staggering number of micro-processes within his massive frame, finding the single, unassailable path to victory. A swarm of improved minis blip into being around C0D13. The Mini_Codie_2s are larger and sleeker than their previous iteration, closer to real Pokemon, and look around hungrily with blinking LED eyes.
But Codie is not finished with his commands. There is one more thing he needs: Less opposition. In the Crater, Sarah Lee and Kath Ulu celebrate their victory. "Fight's over. We won!"
In the Canopy, Lucky swells with pride. His team saved the day!
In the Coastline, Yggy is looking at his messages, thinking about contacting someone for help.
In a flash of blue, clinical light, the four trainers are deleted from Beta Island.
C0D13 runs the calculates again and, satisfied with the results, flies back to the High Tide Shrine, leaving his Mini_Codie_2s to chew Beta Island down to nothing.Â

ISLAND DEFENSE RESULTSYou pull out every stop and pull in every resource. Players you didn't even know turn up to help the cause. One by one, the so-called "bugged" trainers of Beta Island come together to defend their flaw-filled reality: and they succeed.
When the dust settles, the ground of each area is littered with Mini_Codie2 game models. They slowly sink into the ground as they despawn, leaving Beta Island damaged but unquestionably still standing. Any players who feared a third wave of minis are proven wrong: C0D13 is confident in his 2nd Generation to do the job, and has fully retreated to the High Tide Shrine to do his bug reports.
PLAYERS HAVE LEFT COMBATYou may switch or recall Pokemon freely. Your Pokemon retain damage.
As you pull your rattled psyche together, your mind may return to the two messages you received almost simultaneously halfway through the assault. Your inbox shows that both messages were sent by deleted users.
The culprit is easy to imagine. And the cry for help is plain as day. But how do you save a deleted player?
Perhaps by forcing a shutdown before the process is complete.
But without Lucky, Kath Ulu, and Sarah Lee, what chance do you have of defeating the AI in time to save them? It's laughable. C0D13 is right: by deleting his greatest opposition, he's already won.
...Something blips at your minimap.
The 5 Mini_Codie_2s left from the Crater are on the move. They seem to be headed down, deep into the heart of the damaged island.
As some players realize this, others find newly-revealed openings to a network of underground tunnels. It seems that during their attack, the Mini_Codies ate away the unlockable barriers blocking players from accessing this area. In their mindless, digital destruction, the Mini_Codies have revealed a secret area.
The air inside the tunnels is warm and steamy, suffused with sulfur. A warm red glow comes from somewhere deep down at the end.
Players who enter either out of curiosity or in search of Mini_Codies quickly wipe them out before descending into the belly of Beta Island.
HIGH TIDE RAID: ROUND 4The many men, so beautiful! And they all dead did lie: And a thousand thousand slimy things / Lived on; and so did I.Heat pours from the basalt walls, baking the air inside the steam-filled cave.
Veins of black obsidian slice through the walls, merging into sleek, black stalactites that hang from the ceiling like blades of Damocles. The largest of the blades reaches all the way down into the sizzling waters, broadening out into an twisted formation studded with red-tipped crystals. The Bedrock Shrine.
You feel the weight in the air. The pressure. The pretense of power.
As you approach the jawed altar the crystals gleam a little brighter, and the veins in the walls run a little darker.
A tooltip appears, offering you an unexpected choice.
> PRAY AT THE SHRINE
> SACRIFICE A POKEMON
ROUND 4: INSTRUCTIONS You have discovered a hidden area: the bedrock shrine.
Twin to the high tide shrine, the Bedrock Shrine exists beneath Beta Island, surrounded by the scalding waters of a natural hot spring.
The shrine is currently inactive. It will require at least 15 Points to Activate.
You may do one of the following actions in your post:
- PRAY AT THE SHRINE: 1 Point
- SACRIFICE A POKEMON: 5 Points
Sacrificing a Pokemon will have long-term consequences. It will leave your active party and will be grayed out indefinitely in your storage box until either abandoned or successfully reclaimed. You will have an IC opportunity to retrieve this Pokemon after the raid.
You may sacrifice conscious or fainted Pokemon. You may only sacrifice a Pokemon you brought into this raid.
If possible, it is strongly recommended you only post once this round.

In the aftermath of events at the Coastline, Finn finally checks his messages. He replies, frowning. When he checks to see who'd sent it, it shows only [Deleted User]. Fuckin' C0D13.
He doesn't see the rampaging Porygon anywhere, but what he does see is enough to distract from any thoughts of looking for the bugged behemoth. A tunnel gouged into the earth that he's sure hasn't seen before.
Disregarding the danger, he descends.
It's hot down here, and stinks like rotten eggs. He's considering retreat when the red glow draws him closer. The closer Finn gets to the shrine, the more it feels like a physical presence is crushing down upon him. It's intimidating and awe-inspiring in equal measure. Daggers of obsidian gleam like teeth in the bloody light. It's like stepping into the mouth of a giant beast with bad breath... but he does so without hesitation. He chooses SACRIFICE without a second thought, and selects his Meowth from the confirmation screen.

Manish stared at the lack of jungle around them. They won, but did they really? He watched more pokemon disappear along with most of the Canopy. The pokemon that were left look terrified, peeking from behind leaves and trees, or running around looking for their deleted friends. The Mini_C0D13s of all iterations were gone. But it still didnât feel like much of a victory. He sat down on the ground and leaned back on Ryanâs giant foot. Lucy and Narrator both came over. For once both pokemon were somber. Lucy sat next to Manish and Narrator crawled into his lap. <I am Manishâs broken heart.> âYeah, buddy. Yeah, me tooâ Manish sighed as he rubbed his face with his hands. The motion caused him to notice that there were notifications waiting for him. Since they finally had a moment he decided to check. > CRATER DEFENSLESS SEND HELP SACRIFICE YOUR LIVES WE ARE BEING DELETED > Sent to dark ocean. protect crater. save us. disappearing âDo you think the Crater was hit as hard as this?â he asked his pokemon. Lucy shrugged. <Maybe ask? We can go help!> Manish really really wanted a break from the fighting, but she was right. They had to see. The messages were from [DELETED USER] but he thought that if he responded to one, maybe it would still go through. He hit reply on the second one. Hello, uh hi this is Manish. Does the crater still need help? The Canopy is safe. Or whatâs left of it. Anyway, are you okay? Whatâs the dark ocean? Like, the literal ocean? Can messages come from the ocean? Thatâs pretty neat. Not that you were sent there! But that you get reception! Well, anyway, hopefully youâll get this. L.O.L. Manish Jolitt After sending the message he noticed something moving on his mini-map. Well, first he noticed that he had a mini-map, but then he noticed something on it. âThink those are more Mini_C0D13s?â <I am Manish's frothingâŚ>âOh ew, no, okay no, donât say frothing. Thatâs uh. No.â <Fine. Spoilsport. We should go look.> Manish nodded. âOkay, everyone back into your balls. You too, Ryan; youâre too big to follow along.â Giant Ryan frowned but nodded along. MANISH TRAVELED TO THE BEDROCK SHRINE As Manish stumbled into the final cave and looked around, he immediately took several steps back. âOh geeze, oh no. Not another one. Oh no.â The energy here was too familiar for his liking. It was like the High Tide Shrine before it went all evil and tried to destroy the world. Manish ducked behind a boulder and took several deep breaths, occasionally glancing out from his hiding place to check on the Shrine. âOkay, no, itâs okay. You can, um. You can do this. Come on, Manish. You can do this.â Pep talk giving, Manish stumbled towards the Shrine. Another popup appeared, however he didnât really want to take his eyes off the Shrine long enough to read them. He glanced at them and caught the word âpokemon.â âWait, youâre a Shrine right? Um, well, okay, please donât answer that. I will cry if you talk to me. But uh, the other um. Shrine. The High Tide one. That uh, that could fix pokemon. Can you do that took? Can you fix them? I had, well, okay, some of them got hurt fighting. Oh geeze, I donât even know. First there was a giant whale thing, then C0D13 was there and deleted the whale, but then he went evil, then he made little versions of him and. Um. Anyway. You can fix pokemon, right? Can you fix Dwayne?â Manish fumbled with his pokeballs and found the one he wrote Dwayneâs name on and released the still unconscious moth. He gently set Dwayneâs body at the foot of the Shrine and gave her body a pat and once again didnât actually read the popup, he just selected the one with the word âpokemonâ thinking that was the âheal pokemonâ option. MANISH (accidentally) SELECTED > SACRIFICE A POKEMON PARTY HP DWAYNE 0/200 - (accidentally) sacrificed CEREAL 320/350 JULIA 0/200 - ko'd RYAN 330/350 - gigantamax 2/3 LUCY 140/200 NARRATOR 200/200
