ZONE ONE to ZONE TWO Just as the group was about to escape from the surface chaos, a strange eerie voice called out in a language Wolf was unfamiliar with. Wolf ears perked forward, rotating on their pivot point in an attempt to figure out which direction the voice was coming from. However, the voice seemed to be emulating from everywhere and nowhere all at once. This made her skin crawl.
Her newly befriended poipole seemed to understand whatever it was. It stopped for a moment, glaze fell upon the player and her creatures as they paused to see what it was going to do. And for what felt like the longest time, the group stood there motionless waiting to see what the ultra beast would do. “It’s bad isn’t it,” the player asked the ultra beast in a low tone, fearing what the answer will be. And after a moment or two later, the creature finally spoke back to the voice in the same language. “I won’t let you! We will defeat you!” Wolf’s pale golden orbs followed to the purple beast as it floated to her, unsure what it said but hoped it was a good thing. Maybe?
Players continued to flee all around her, Wolf suddenly feeling like something big was about to happen if they didn’t move now. “Let’s keep going,” the player mumbled in a low almost hushed tone, casting her braxien and type null a concerned look, “We can’t linger for long.” The group pressed forward in a made dash, emerging onto the next level that seemed to have even more chaos than the last. Great.
A full on battle royale has already started by the time she escaped to zone one, taking it all in as fast as she could while keeping on the move. Another prompt popped up in her UI, giving her a clear direction and the player too focused on the objective to do much else. As the red mist hazes the ground, more pokemon funnel towards them and seem just as aggressive as the last. “Over there,” the player calls out, spotting the varoom that struggle to control itself, “Come on.”
The mini engine roared with semi anguish life, Wolf praying that none of her pokemon have been stolen from her. She doesn’t think her heart could take it. Despite being merely a game, they meant a lot to her. “Ziryan. Metal sound.” The chimera took in a deep breath, chest expanded. And when ready, the type null let out a loud METAL SOUND at the VAROOM. Though the sound was painful for most others, it seemed that the creature almost enjoyed it as it zoomed off to find its owner.
With that next, Wolf moved to the next. A pile of red hot coals was her next target, using her bolter speed boost to get to the COLOSSAL in a blink of an eye. “Again Ziryan. Tackle it to life with some heat.” The chimera, still trying to catch up with his speedy handler, lowered his head. At first, a white glow encased his helmet. But soon after, ignited with fire. His FIREY TACKLE hit the creature, bring color back to the once partial fire type. Unfortunately, there was nothing more she could do. “This one needs more help!” The player didn’t wait for a response from another, simply sprinting off to the next.
She wasn’t sure why this pokemon caught her eye next. It could’ve been because its an OG pokemon, most OG pokemon holding a special place her in heart. The reason didn’t really matter to her. If anything, she was happy to have seen the three headed bird struggling and in need of help. “This way,” she called out, activating her bolted boost to be at the pokemon in no time flat, “Ziryan. IMPRISON the DODRIO so it doesn’t hurt itself anymore.” The type null did without hesitation, fulling trusting his handler as the psychic energy reached out and encased the birds frame to allow it to calm down some before he released it from its hold. Again, Wolf couldn’t do much else so shouted out in the almost chaotic scene for someone else to finish the job.
Running, the player noted that some players were healing others. And not wanting to be a waste of space, she felt the need to do the same. Her pale golden orbs fell upon another player named Alkaid who looked like they needed help. She ran towards him, calling for him to stop for a moment. “Hey! I can heal you if you need.” Whether they wanted it or not, she didn’t give them a choice. She turned to her braxien, nodding to her. “Heal the ultra beast.”
Izumi nodded, eyes wide in mild fear of this beast. She plucked the stick from her tail, waving it like a wand at it. A spark ignited a flame, the flames soon forming a stream and wrapped around the Alkaid KARTANA. The FLAMEs circled the beast for a moment, only to HEAL the creature in a CHARGE before sizzling out into nothing. “I know it’s not much, but your strength is needed more than mine. Good luck.” A farewell nod to him, the hybrid was off again to see what else she could do.
It was at this time that the loud explosion shook the earth, a swarm of blacephalon flooding the zone. “We need to get out of here NOW!” Wolf looked to the poipole, wondering if she could used it to make their grand escape. “Poipole, escape us.” But just as she requested it, the ultra beast let out a shrill. Its crumbled with agony, body pulsed with a strange energy before it looked at her with dark red eyes. “YOU CAN”T ESCAPE!!” “That’s probably not good,” the player almost squeaked, eyes wide. Still, she was unable to understand what it said.
A blacephalon came up to her out of no where, causing the same prompted from before to appear. Much like before, Wolf did as it said. She placed a hand on its round head, eyes closed to share a memory with it. However, this memory wasn’t the one she wanted to share. It was a different one, one that she wasn’t really proud of. It flashed into the day when she order Ziryan to attack, the type null nearly killing for the poor pokemon. For at least, that was it looked like. And as such, a connection had failed.
“YOU ARE CORRUPTED!!”
“No. It’s not what it looks like,” the player shouted back, still unable to understand but fearing that there was a misunderstanding. Her ears flattened against her skull as she turned to flee. “We need to go now. Ziryan, Izumi, and Poipole. Come on!” The sound of her voice snapped the poipole out of its strange behavior, pain filled its eyes. She waved at it to follow, concerned about it but unable to focus on that right now. Right now, they needed to run for the lives towards the next zone or face being KOed by an angry ultra beast.

NEXUS ENTRANCE > ESCAPING TO NEXUS ENTRANCE > ESCAPING TO ZONE ONE The player was focused on the directive of saving pokemon, driven by pure adrenaline and the thrill of actually being useful in this raid unlike the last. Pale golden orbs swept the remaining colorless pokemon at the Nexus Entrance, slightly frowning that there were few who have yet to be saved. However, there was nothing she could do for them. She could only hope that another player could save them from whatever hell they were in.
Speaking of other players, Wolf noticed that many players either have already pushed on to the next area or have escaped to another entrance. And for a moment, she hesitated on what she, herself, should do next. Although she wasn’t familiar with all the players who have joined in the raid, the hybrid was sure she was probably the weakest of them all. Much like in the last raid. And luck like in the last raid, her hesitation seemed to be her greatest downfall.
By the time Wolf came to a decision on what her next move should be, strange voices echoed off the walls and filled the air with the sense of danger. Her eyes widen, watching out of pure disbelief as the ultra beast known as poipole descends from what feels like no where and spots Wolf almost instantly. It approaches her curiously and defensively, stinger at that the ready. Instinctively, the player took a step back. Her expression almost fearful. But for some reason, it waited to attack.
A prompt popped up in the corner of her vision, the player reading quickly and carefully before I vanished due to her own personal settings. “Befriend it,” she spoke in a whisper, both her pokemon stood behind her emitting their own warning growl. She was quick to silence them with an arm out, like she was holding them back. And with the other, she nervously reached out to gingerly touch the poipole.
Suddenly, both her and the poipole were teleported in a misty haze. While they were frozen in time, the pair searched through her memories- no- Wolf ’s memories. Finally, the searching stopped upon one she still recalled often. It was when she saved a certain Vulpix (now known as Sombra) from the Underworld she was sent to by another, making the creature feel wanted and loved once more. And thus, bring her back from the dead. Reliving the memory in such detail brought even a tear to the player’s eyes, blinking rapidly to send the water droplets down the side of her rounded face. At the end of the memory, both were forced back to the chaotic present.
Watery gaze lifted to the poison type ultra beast, its own gaze seemed watery and much softer than before. Or, was that her imagination? Suddenly, another prompt popped up in the center of her vision.
It took a hot minute for it to set in, the player’s gaze flickering to the side of her vision as sprite of poipole and the plus symbol flashed. The creature before her tilted its large head to one side. “You have a good heart.” The player, still stunned for words, stared at it. “Of course she does,” the Type Null snarled at it, dark gaze glaring at this strange new ally, “Why else would be with her?” “Not all are good in this world,” the greninja replied with cool quiet calmness, “But Wolf is among the few.” Wolf blinked again, fighting back the tears that wanted to overwhelm her.
“Look-“ she forced herself to say, pausing to wipe away the potential tears, “I think I heard that some assistance is needed at the Harbor Entrance.” Taking a deep breath, the hybrid refocused herself. “Cragen. Get some rest. I might need you again later.” “Sounds good.” With that, the player recalled her greninga. And in his place, her support braixen materialized. “Izumi. Escape us to the Harbor side.” “Right away my Lady,” Izumi replied, plucking her stick from her tail and waving it like a wand. “I’m coming with you,” the poipole commented promptly, resting on Wolf ’s head forcing her wolf ears apart. “Uhhhh… Yeah- Of course.”
In the blind of an eye, the team was teleported to a new area. The underwater caverns making the player shiver. The fear of drowning the first to pop in her head. However, the shouts for assistance in revving pokemon put her back into the zone. Play golden orbs shifting, spotting a poor DREEPY still needed some help. “Izumi, heal us up while Ziryan, use IMPRISON.” Much like back at the other entrance, a strange psychic glow encased the creatures from reviving it almost completely back to heal. Unfortunately, that’s all she could do. “If anyone has that question mark type, this one needs help!” Not wanting to waste any more time, the player moved on to the next.
“Another beast is here.”
Wolf’s gaze shifted wildly at the poipole, fear that she might be KOed if she doesn’t escape here soon. “Uhhhh… Right. Thanks.” Her gaze shifted back to the few pokemon felt, spotting another creature she might be able to help. “Over there Ziryan, use IRON HEAD on that PIPLUP.” The type null followed the direction his handler was pointing too in their mod dash, spotting the creature. Lowering his head, the axe like thing attached to his helmet became hard as steel. He rammed into the poor little creature, effectively bring the pokemon back to life while also aiding in its escape from this hell. Wolf rolled her eyes, but fear of what was about to happened overpowered her want to scold the creature at this point in time.
“Time is running out.”
Gaze lifted to the poipole who seemed to have attached itself to her head, only to roll them and look to her two other pokemon. “Ziryan. ESCAPE us out of here now.” As the team naruto ran with the other players further into the raid, their bodies teleported to the next zone. Who knows what kind of trouble they are about to get into next?

NEXUS ENTRANCE It was go time…
The count down began, already being teleported to the corresponding location where her fellow players had to wait for the raid to officially start. Pale golden orbs shifted to the bold red text that blinked in the top right corner of her vision, the numbers counting down seemingly slow. Wolf took a deep breath, forcing herself to look away from the timer to see who all she was about to raid with. Two she recognized almost instantly, Torino being the player who explored the dunes with her for that ultra beast and Alicia Westfield who took part of that weird Survival Game knock off someone tried to host. The other players she didn’t know, but was quickly drawn to the timer again unable to not watch it while more teleported in.
Taking in a deep breath, the wolf human hybrid tried to keep her cool, calm, and collective look. Her expression emotionless and blank, like she has done this before. However, the parts of her avatar she couldn’t control gave away how she really felt. Pointed canine ears pulled back and long fluffy tail sticking straight out, unsure anxiety. Her arms folded over her chest, staring at the large elevator doors that remained close probably until the count down hits zero. In the final seconds, the player tried to focus only on what needed to be done.
The chime of the elevator arriving made her heart skip a beat, doors opening and Wolf rushed forward in an attempt to be in the first part to reach the World Event. Luckily, she was able too as the doors closed to take them to their battle ground. She didn’t say anything to anyone nor look at any of the players, purely focused on the doors waiting for them to open up. And when they did, she didn’t wait or anyone or anything.
Pale golden orbs widened at the sight of the debris scattered, this being the first time she had been in this area before. Yet, she tried to keep her head in the game. As soon as the tasks popped up in the corner of her vision, the player got to work.
“Easy enough,” she mumbled, mostly to herself. With a simple motion of her hand, two of her pokemon materialized within seconds. A greninja whom already had his battle face one, and a type null whom took in his surroundings only to give a low growl that rattled in his helmet. “Let’s get to work,” the player chimed, spotting the strange looking ALOLAN RATATTA first and pointing to it, “Cragen. That’s you. NIGHT SLASH and SPIKES.” The water and dark type’s beady eyes fell upon the defenseless creature, a dark aura encased his hand like appendage and slashed at the creature. And once it registered the dark move, he leaped into the air only to hero pound into the earth. Spikes shot out from underneath the creature, the ground type move effectively giving the creature life again. It was quick to flee, free from whatever sickness it had. “Nice. Let’s keep moving.”
The trio pressed on, finally finding a colorless pokemon she could handle. Next up, a little MANKEY needed help. Unfortunately, she couldn’t save it fully. “If someone has rock, this one needs help,” she called out to anyone willing or wanting to hear her, gaze shifted to her Type Null, “You’re up Ziryan. DOUBLE HIT.” The chimera like creature trotted up to the creature, claw rose to slap it not once but twice across its little face. Wolf tried to stifle the giggle that wanted to escape her, picturing a gif in her mind of a woman b**** slapping another. It was not the time for that.
Keeping, that's all what was on her mind. The PANSAGE they stumbled upon seemed to have been already helped by another, but still needed a little kick. “Cragen, SPIKES again.” Much like before, the frog leaped into the air only to hero punch the ground. The spikes curing the pansage enough to allow it to escape this hell it was in.
“Another over there,” the player called out, the team darting to the RALTS and Wolf giving her orders, “Ziryan IMPRISON, then METAL SOUND.” Like a while oiled machine, the Type Null first encased the psychic and fairy type in a psychic barrier. And once trapped, his muzzle parted to emit an ear piercing metal on metal noise that woke the creature from its ill slumber. It’s eyes shot open, staring of them for what felt like an entirety before fleeing with the rest.
A shout was heard, drawling the team upon an Aron that needed an ice move. “On it,” she called out in reassurance, pale golden orb flickered to her greninja, “Use HAZE.” Taking in a deep breath, Cragen let out a soft icy breath onto the ARON. The chill of the ice woke the creature almost instantly, fleeing without even giving them a thanks. It didn’t matter though, there were plenty more to save and they did need to save some of their energy to they wanted to last this raid.
Spotting one more they could save, the group moved towards a poor little SNIVY. It looked pretty rough, Wolf fighting the urge to break her placid mask. "Another DOUBLE HIT Ziryan, but maybe not as hard." The chimera grumbled, lifting his claw to slap the creature around twice before casting his master an annoyed look. The player shrugged her shoudlers, gaze sweeping the area to see how everyone else was fairing.

The type null raced across the hot sandy desert, leaping into the air only to come crashing down onto the strange beast before him. Their bodies collided, his foe letting out a grunt of pain of pain before lasting out back at him. A single swipe was all it took, its length arms with covered hand like appendages connected with his body and sending Ziryan flying through the air. He landed a few paces back, sand blooming out from his hit into the sand. The chimera rolling end over end until coming to a stop. Wolf blinked, shocked.
The hybrid was quickly distracted by her partner whom not only sent out a speedy little Doduo that was kicking butt, but seemed very interested in her own creature who finally got back to his feet and charged at the ultra beast once again. “Oh. I was in the shop…” she started, pausing to be sure her beast wasn’t out already before continuing, “… browsing the store to see what there was to offer and seen it in there. Read the requirements and sent the bytes. It’s really not too difficult to get if you are willing to wait in upgrades.”
To be honest, Wolf probably should’ve waited to get the type null. It seems that investing in updates early was the best strategy. However, she always wanted a type null with its evolution silvally being one of those top tier creatures designs in her opinion. Also, it was canine like and Wolfie like her canines. She needed all the canines.
Torino's dodou was putting in the WORK. It tangled with the ultra beast, really giving it a run for its money so to speak. Ziryan observed carefully, waiting for his turn to give the creature a new one. And when the opportunity came, the type null didn’t hesitate. He charged again, leaping into the air to hit it with another round of AERIAL ACE in a surprise attack. It grunted in pain, stumbling on itself as it tried to recovery from the sudden second attack.

This place was no joke. It was dangerous beyond belief. Yet, her exploring partner seemed unfazed by it all. While she dashed through the hot dunes, Wolf couldn’t help her pale golden orbs from darting left and right in fear she was about to get blocked out. Luckily, she had both her running shoes and the added speed thanks to the Bolter subclass made it easier for her to keep up with the other player.
As soon as they got behind the wall, Wolf avatar huffed and puffed. Her stamina nearly drained. And for a moment, she leaned up against the wall. Wolf ears twitched, listening for the sounds of an ultra beast still on their trail. However, it was silent. “I- I- I think lost it,” the player breathed heavily, moving to peak around the corner. But as she did, her eyes widened at the sight of what she came here for. A blacephalon. “There’s a different ultra beast,” she whispered, observing the creature’s bizarre movements across the sand dunes, “I think it’s Blacephalon.”
Almost like a the damn thing has some super earring aids or something, it turned towards her and sprinted in their direction. She player cursed under her breath. “It found us.” Moving out in the open, the player summoned her type null. It materialized in seconds, emitting a low growl as his dark gaze fell upon the approaching beast. “Aerial Ace!”
The chimera like creature didn’t hesitate, body encased in a light glow. Legs fixed, claws tug into the soft sand as he sprang into action. Snarling all the while, his body became light as a feather. He charged, leaping high into the air just before they were close to each other only to come crashing down onto the ultra beast with all his might. “Here we go Torino!”

Rumors have spread throughout the forums that a raid will becoming soon. Very soon. Now soon, it was unknown. But, soon.
And as such, Wolf wanted to be more than just a nibbling puppy in the raid this time around. Although she didn’t really have a bunch of bytes to spend to instantly upgrade herself to the next teir, the hybrid could get her Pokemon’s rarity up in hopes that that extra bit will prove more powerful than it seems. Luckily, there wasn’t too much she needed to do really. Most of her pokemon are either rare or very rare. However, she did have a few who needed some TLC.
First up, Zamasu. The adolescent electric lion stood proudly, beady eyes took in the wide open grassland that surrounded them. Long star tipped tail twitched, gaze falling upon his master as she pulled out a strange looking item with pointy bits on it. “What is that?” “It’s a brush,” the player replied monotonely, moving the brush to her own hair and running it through her hair, “See. It won’t hurt you.” The luxe’s eyes narrowed at the object, not liking the look of it even though his handler did it to herself. “Why are you brushing your hair?” Wolf rolled her pale golden orbs, moving closer to the luxio. “To show you it’s not going to hurt you.”
A ran reached out, aiming to place on hand on his back and using the other hand with the brush to detangle any mane hairs the creature might have. But as soon as the player extended the brush towards the feline, he took several paces back away from her. A low growl rattled in his chest, tail flickered like any angry cat. “I don’t want to be brushed.” The wolf human hybrid let out a loud annoyed sigh, moving closer to him again. “It’s not going to hurt you. In fact, maybe the ladies would like a clean male instead of a nasty mangled one.” Again, she reached out with the brush. And again, he took several paces back. “Seriously?”
“How do you know that’s what they want? Maybe they want a rough and tough male.” “First impression matter, Zamazu. And if you can’t be clean for the first impressions, they might think you always be nasty.” “So.” An annoyed look deepen on her expression. “So. You don’t want to impress other lioness?” The luxio was silent for a while, staring daggers at the brush with his tail flickering like no tomorrow. And after a minute, Wolf spoke up again. “Let’s just try it and if you don’t like it, this will be the last time. Alright?” Zamasu was silent for the longest moment. However, Wolf had enough.
“Sit still and let me brush you, or I want take you to the raid coming up. I’ll take Stryker or Killua instead.” She had nothing against the other canines, she just personally liked luxury’s design more and as such she wanted to put the time and effort into him instead. Also, luxury had better movespool as well. And let’s be honest, that’s what a player needs for unvor. “Do you want to stay behind Zamasu?”
The luxio let out a series of grumbles, moving closer to her. Although hesitant, he would allow her to brush her with that strange looking item. He tensed up, waiting for whatever that item would do to him to do it. Yet, there was no pain. Instead, a relaxing motion on his mane. It wasn’t that bad. Huh. Still though, he never wanted to be brushed again.
+5 for luxio!

It was certainly not a place she expected to meet up for a simple quick trade. That much, was sure. However, it didn’t stop her from agreeing to and meeting up with said player to complete the trade.
As probably many have picked up by now, Wolf had a weakness for canine like pokemon. And after completing the dog tower, she secretly hoped that one of the other players who had partook in the tower didn’t want their growlithe. She had mad love for that line, converting her own growlithe into the ancient form. But, she wanted both on her team.
Doing her best to ignore whatever atrocity was happening around her, the marker on her mini map blinked silently in the corner of her vision. A prompted popped up momentary stating she had found her trade partner. Pale golden orbs flickered over the small crowd, spotting a player with the name that matched the one who accepted the trade in the first place. The hybrid took in a deep breath, moving towards them with her usually placid emotionless mask she always worn in an attempt to seem more unfazed and cool.
“Hey Nero ,” she called out in a low tone, moving closer to them as a mime caught her and stared to approach her, “You’re the one with the growlithe, right?” In the corner of her vision, she noticed the creepy creature getting closer. She caught the shivers that ran down her spine. “A strange place to meet up,” she commented, again trying to not disturb the strange show, “Do you like this type of stuff?” Behind the avatar, the woman prayed she wasn’t about to meet up with one of those… let’s say unusual… yeah… unusual unvor players that she heard about playing the game. Those people are mental, seriously need to be checked out.
